The hotel it self is really nice along with the amenities. The location is pretty central but for the price you can go to several other hotels along the street with the same views of the sea. My husband choose this ho because of the indoor pool & spa which are very nice but cost additional & close rather early.... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Vesuvio and couldnt have picked a better place. It is beautifully located for restaurants, culture and shopping. Our room was stunning with Watersilk lined walls, polished floors and a lovely quaint balcony. Staff were efficient and welcoming and the breakfast buffet was lovely. We would definately stay again.

Grand Hotel Vesuvio is a world class luxury hotel built in a time that space and money was not a problem. Nicely situated at a pedestrian area and with a great view at the sea and the island Capri. The hotel is very comfortable with big rooms with high ceilings, a good bathroom and the beds are spectacular. The hotel... More

Ideal location near to the port. Vibrant coastal area with plenty of shops and restaurants. Hotel staff we exceptional with nothing too much trouble. Rooms cleaned twice a day with the second visit being a turning down service. Free wifi available throughout the hotel, parking is a a premium and €25 per day! There is a car park one street... An elegant, comfortable hotel close to historic centre of Naples as well as the sea-side and ferry wharf, which is handy if travelling from or to an island or somewhere on the Amalfi Coast. Our room was very nicely decorated in yellow silk and had a wonderful view of the water and the Castel Dell'Ovo. The bed was huge. We... More

This is a luxury hotel well maintained, with a good service and a good staff. One is expecting some free mineral water in the room. Saying that, the breakfast room was very nice with a good assortment even if the quality of the pastry is not particularly high (in Naples we expected more) and the bacon is not tasty as... More

The last 2 days of our two week trip were here. After staying at the Bellevue Syrene in Sorrento,Le Sireneuse in Positano, and Palazzo Avino in Ravello, we had set some pretty high standards. On early arrival, our deluxe sea view was ready.Although somewhat small,it was still quite nice. The bath was acceptable, but the shower(Jacuzzi) was barely navigable(small) and only 1 shower was operable(although when... This hotel has a magical location on Via Partenope, a pedestrian-only street, overlooking the Bay of Naples. We arrived early, but our room was ready and while our room rate did not provide for breakfast, the hotel invited us to partake of the breakfast buffet. Our room was spacious and housekeeping impeccable. The pressed linens were unique in my experience.... More

We booked Hotel Grand Vesuvio for a 4 night stay in Naples largely because of previous reviews. Hotel Grand Vesuvio is a 5 star hotel in an excellent sea front location convenient for the centre of Naples and this is reflected by the price. This was to be our first visit to Naples and we were very pleased on seeing... More

I booked this hotel for one night after landing at Naples, before moving on to Amalfi, and then for our last night before going back to the airport. While it is close neither to the airport nor to the station, it is away from the busy and noisy centre of Naples and has a fantastic view across to Vesuvius and... More
