Very ultra modern hotel across from the very large port in Naples, Italy. We only stayed here the last night to make it easier to get back to the airport for our flight home the next day. It is about 20 Euro cab ride (15-20 minutes) to airport. I made the reservations for this hotel with Expedia and was told... More

Imagine you gave an architect with very bad taste un unlimited budget to redo an hotel. You'd get the Romeo. Can't say it is bad, butt it is certainly in doubtful taste. Kitsch is the word. Simple things like light switches or shower knobs are totally unconventional and inconvenient. Rooms do not have numbers on the doors. Oops! they are... More

Lovely, lovely, helpful reception staff at Hotel Romeo but would like to suggest the much-praised designers actually stay at the place for a few nights. If you like privacy in the bathroom do not stay here ! The en-suite bathroom has no walls or doors but glass panels which give a view of the WC and shower from the bedroom... More

Dear Shybather, Thanks for your review. While reading your comments, we noticed you registered on TripAdvisor with the nickname “Shybather”: our bathroom design mush definitely impressed you! The bathrooms of our Deluxe and Deluxe Sea Side rooms are actually characterized by a frosted glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom (which our guests usually appreciate a lot)….but, after all,... My partner and I had the grave misfortune to stay at the Romeo Hotel for the last two nights at the end of a bigger trip, around various beautiful parts of Italy. Unfortunately, we did not save the best till last. Upon arriving we were met by a very pleasant young lady on reception who showed us to our room... More

Dear greenman34, Thank you for reviewing us. We took some time to double check and look carefully into your comments. Generally, when it happens to receive such a bad review as yours is, it does because something triggers the guest dissatisfaction, and then it cascades negatively on every aspect of the guest stay. In your case, it was obviously the... More

Well located on Port near Centro Storico. Great spacious room. Great bathroom. Nice bathroom products. Clean. Good restaurant although a bit fussy. Very nice breakfasts. Helpful staff. Roof top pool. Looked like best hotel in Naples. We stayed in room 803.

This hotel is great. Modern and hip. The rooms are well appointed with plenty of room. The lobby and the roof pool are an added plus. Wifi works great. The breakfast is one of the best I have had. Location is OK not on the main waterfront with the other grand hotels but it's not a problem at all. If... More

Dear Kimpardini, Thank you so much for your review, we are glad that our property fully met your expectations! Many of our guest choose Romeo hotel for a stopover before or after the islands of Capri and Ischia as you did; others choose us as a starting point to discover Naples and all the treasures of the region. Again, thanks... More

Nice, clean and modern, the rooms were good and well presented. The location is perfect for the fast ferries to Capria and Ischia. Only complaint was that the room design was a bit too fussy - too many sharp objects to move around in the middle of the night (!) but the beds and pillows were good. Breakfast was also... More

Dear David R, We thank you for your review and comments. Many tourists visiting the south of Italy, especially the ones coming from foreign Countries, may prefer to go on holiday straight to Capri or to the Amalfi Coast; but the ones who decide to stop in Naples to visit this still “hidden gem” are always very satisfied with their... This hotel was recommended by a friend, who has visited Naples several times and knows their way around the city. We're glad we followed their recommendation as the Romeo Hotel was absolutely perfect for us - an ideal base from which to explore the city. It was easy to visit the historic centre, which was amazing... like taking a walk... More
