The hotel looks great. It's modern, stand out and has some lovely touches, but much of it is superficial and they need to get the basics right before the design takes over. There are so many design cliches that it's like walking through a gallery and not knowing where to look, at the expense of cold service. The lift has... More

A friend and I needed one night hotel because we were flying out of Naples. LOVED this hotel, but the city as a whole is quite sketchy. Luckily www.classictravel.com handled our booking and we received an upgrade on arrival, welcome fruit plate and spa credit which covered one of our massages! It is a stylish posh hotel with a rooftop... More

We ended out Italy holiday with a couple of nights at this hotel . It was the only hotel offered by Mr and Mrs Smith and so we gave it a try. Whilst the location is not attractive it does have its pro's in particular the distance from the Capri ferry terminal . The hotel held our main luggage whilst... More

Dear Susan W, Thank you for your review and “giving us a try”. Guests comments are always welcome as they give us precious hints for improving our offer! For example your comment about the pool table not being easy to use…that is a great point, and none of our guests ever mentioned it. We will surely consider it! Regarding the... More

Good parts: - Comfortable bed, with 3 kinds of pillows. - Complimentary still water in the room. - House keeping after sun-set, making the bed, close the curtain, empty the trash bin. - Breakfast, fresh-cut ham, great yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh pastry, fresh orange juice. - Good bath products. - SkyTV Minus points: - The pool on the roof is... Dear vanessa_2050, Thank you for reviewing us, we liked the way you settled your review: pluses, minuses and final comments. We will try to do the same in our reply! About your pluses, we just can thank you for highlighting them. Let’s go to your minus points: our outdoor pool is a panoramic hydromassage pool, so it is not designed... More

I selected this hotel for its location & view. However, the owners seem to consider design more important than customer experience and seem to have wanted to come up with the Italian version of the initial W concept...Although rooms have nice features, the design is all over the place, not exactly tasteful and certainly in the way of function & true... Dear LeDiscerningTraveler, Thank you for reviewing us. We are sorry that you did not appreciate Romeo hotel’s design, though as a design hotel, it is quite obvious that “design is all over the place”! Regarding the bathroom, we have several room categories with different types of bathroom. If you had mentioned it with our staff when they showed you the... More

Spent 2 nites here in April,2015 and the hotel is in great spot overlooking the port and the bay of Naples. A great location for walking and close to lugomare and a number of excellent places to eat.The hotel staff go overboard to ensure all is perfect.

We stayed at the Romeo Hotel for two nights on our way to the Amalfi Coast. A modern boutique hotel located right by the port and near the old city that you can explore on foot. You can get the ferry walking distance from the hotel. Great lobby and bar with a fun and nice rooftop pool. Lovely landscaping with... More

We recently spent a week in Naples at Hotel Romeo. The breakfast was great, and the view of Versuvius was fabulous, from both our room and the restaurants. However, the most impressive feature of this lovely hotel was the service. I had an injured foot, which was continually aided by all staff, from the front desk and room service, to... More

Very ultra modern hotel across from the very large port in Naples, Italy. We only stayed here the last night to make it easier to get back to the airport for our flight home the next day. It is about 20 Euro cab ride (15-20 minutes) to airport. I made the reservations for this hotel with Expedia and was told... More

Dear Cheryl M, Thank you for reviewing us. We are sorry that your experience at Romeo hotel was not as positive as you had expected because of the SPA misunderstanding: actually, it was due to an incorrect translation from Expedia, whose booking confirmation was referring to an old 2-nights package including SPA and buffet breakfast. Therefore, we apologize about it... More

Imagine you gave an architect with very bad taste un unlimited budget to redo an hotel. You'd get the Romeo. Can't say it is bad, butt it is certainly in doubtful taste. Kitsch is the word. Simple things like light switches or shower knobs are totally unconventional and inconvenient. Rooms do not have numbers on the doors. Oops! they are... More

Dear Luisecarv, Thanks for your review, though we have to say that the notorious architect Kenzo Tange and his associates, who designed the Romeo hotel, would disagree with you! The building where our property now stands was the historic headquarters of Lauro's naval fleet. The concept at the core of the renovation project was to exalt the art of contrasts... More
