We had a very pleasant stay at Medea B&B. Our room was clean, new and had very nice furniture. The view to our room was also nice, facing Santa Chiara. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was typical Italian with pastry, crispy bread, butter and jams. It also contained a drink of our choice (tea, coffee, cappuccino) and water. A... More

Generally speaking, this is a great B&B. I recommend it to anyone traveling on a budget. I stayed there with a friend. Pros: 1. Great location - right in the center of the historic old town Naples, just a stones throw from most of the to sightseeing spots. This is actually the most interesting area to walk around day or... From the warm reception when the owner showed us first time visitors to Napoli the top attractions in Napoli on the map until we left, everything was as we preferred it. Stayed in room 6, Perfect. The terrace was wonderful. Located in the heart of historic Napoli, cannot get better. Easy to find, we walked from the central station. Wholeheartedly... More

Arriving outside the B&B Medea certainly filled me with doubt, the entrance from the street is gloomy and uninviting looking, and on arrival, I seriously wondered what we had done by booking this place! There are concrete stairs up to the second floor reception or a lift, but be warned, you have to pay 10 cents to use the lift... More

We stayed in the B&B only one night before our flight from Naples home at the end of our Positano holiday. We walked there from Garibaldi Central Station navigated by GPS and I was horrified what the first impression the streets of Naples made on me. I didn't expect Naples being so dirty, smelly, and full of garbage and poor... More

Medea is right in the heart of of the old city. We stayed in room number 8 which was comfortable BUT could constantly smell next room's toilet, so we paid extra to upgrade to a room with a terrace (on the other side of Medea) to number 6. Room number 6 was much bigger and was beautifully decorated in shabby... More

A friend and I had a wonderful four night stay in this B&B. We were met at the airport and transported for 15 euros. We did wonder what we had done when we entered the graffitti, littered streets of the old town but were reassured when we entered our room which opened up on to the lovely terrace. Girl on... More

An oasis in the heart of the old city and located close to the pedestrian only piazzas and streets, Bed & Breakfast Medea is a little treasure. The rooms are large (for Naples) and several open out onto a terrace that overlooks the church courtyard. The staff gave us good advice and were friendly and attentive. Do not let the... More

I would totally recommend BB Medea and stay here again if I return to Naples. We had two rooms, a twin and a double with balcony. This is at the back of the residence. There was some noise on SATURDAY night but nothing that disturbed us more than you would expect if you choose to stay right in the centre... More
