I thought this hotel would be good after it e.mailed me, after booking it through an agent, and telling me the taxi fare from airport should be Euro 20. The Hotel is very well situated if you want the old historical city . The sea is about 30 minutes walk away. The old roman road is just 25 metres away... More

in a recent trip to Italy and Turkey, this was the highlight of the trip. As one enters the old city, it is hard to find, even for taxi drivers. The outside of the building is not spectacular but once inside, it is an oasis. The room was very pleasant, the hotel staff very accommodating and informative, and the breakfast... More

The hotel was fabulous, but the square in front of it was a bit seedy. It was in a good location to the Spaccanapoli and was safe to walk. The bedroom was large and well-appointed. It had a good bar menu and very congenial service. If I had to make a recommendation, I would say that the computer at the... More

Naples is not for the fainthearted. Generally, the people are not into "customer service", they mistake it for servitude. This includes the staff at this hotel, although the manageress was good. Don't let me put you off because there are some wonderful things to see in Naples. This includes the crazy street life, the historic slum areas (now glorified with... More

Wonderful room and excellent service. The hotel is located in the middle of the old town. Really good service at the hotel. The room was nice and big with excellent comfort. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

This property is a great choice if you want a central location to view the city and hit the artisan shopping areas. Naples is known for its high quality Christmas manager scenes and the vendors who sell this art are blocks away. Don't expect a good view from your room as it seems they all face an inner dark opening.... More

We had a really spacious room (405), with a HUGE bed and lovely marble furnishings. An excellent hairdrier ( not always great in hotels!), and bathrobes and slippers provided - they were even laid out for us on our first evening. A complementary drink was given on first night; this was served by a friendly and knowledgeable barman, along with... More

We spent 5 nights at the Hotel Palazzo Decumani. The location was perfect for exploring Naples. At first glance, it looks like it is in a seedy neighbourhood but all fears were allayed by the first day. We walked the labyrinth of streets from the hotel daily and felt safe at all times. Even late at night. Our hotel room... More

We were very comfortable in our spacious room at this hotel but, despite this very key positive, would not return there. We particularly noted the way too aloof attitude of the staff, which definitely did not make us feel welcome. Also, while the location was a convenient point from which to walk around the centro storico, there were no good... More

Perfectly located in a very center of Naples. Surrounded by a labyrinth of narrow, noisy streets packed with cozy restaurants and small shops. Cleanliness... well, you may expect a higher standard in a 4-stars hotel, but just after the first day of wandering in Naples you understand that you shouldn't be too pedantic. Rooms surprisingly quiet, bed very comfortable, air... More
