My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Decumani for 4 nights at the beginning of August. We had the most wonderful time. The hotel is quite modern with some great traditional features. The main stairwell spirals up around an impressive chandelier, really surprisingly beautiful as the immediate area itself is quite dodgy looking but safe enough, we walked around... More

Once you get past the exterior and the iffy neighborhood, you find yourself in an oasis. Big, clean rooms, great seating area with modern touches. Helpful staff. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Breakfasts were great.

Everything great! The infrastructure, the staff, all services, including touristic help and other amenities offered. The location is good. Close to old town but not far from some major avenues. The price is not an issue, even offering all of this.

A chic modern hotel in a gritty neighborhood. Fairly close to the train station, but we New Yorkers opted for a 17 Euro cab ride. The area was foreboding at night. A welcome drink was accompanied by luscious nibbles (the biggest capers I've ever seen). We used the hotel as a base for day trips to Capri and the Amalfi... More

Great hotel right in the center of Napoli, close to most of historical points and pizzerias. The building seems to be recently refurbished and the rooms are very good. Friendly staff, especially Pascoale, who was very pleasant since we checked in and helped with directions and good suggestions. I do recommend if you want to feel like old Napoli once... More

Last year, we spend three nights at the Decumani. The stay was very satisfactory and very pleasant--the welcome drink, the quality of the room, the friendly staff at the front desk, etc. This year, when we decided to return to Naples, we decided also to return to the Palazzo Decumani. The three nights we stay at the hotel were equally... More

We spent the night in Naples because our EasyJet flight from London got in too late to continue to Sorrento. We also planned to visit the Archaeological Museum, to see the actual statues and frescoes from Pompeii, which was on our Sorrento itinerary. We booked directly on their website. One reason for this choice was that it is halfway between... More

This hotel should be perfect - it's location is ideal for Naples, the building has character [even if some of the interior design is a little gaudy] and the rooms themselves are kitted out fairly well. We felt 'safe' having read the other positive reviews to splash out a bit for a 4* hotel. However the reality was very starkly... More
