Stayed there with 2 friends and the breakfasts were delicious....ended up buying some of their home made jellies and limoncello to take home. The view of the ocean from up there was outstanding too! It is a little bit out of the way but their minivan is always available to take people up/ down the narrow part of the street... More

My perspective of this review is an American with little experience with European B&Bs. This was our first trip staying at B&Bs in Europe & overall had a great experience. We were greeted by the matriarch that welcomed us to their "home" & hoped that we would consider our home while staying there. What a great way to set the... More

We did not stay at the Villa just took the cooking class. Anna Marie is owner and head chief, her son John Lugi picked us up at our hotel in Sorrento and deliverd us to the Villa. There were 7 adults in the class and it was great fun. Anna Maire and her staff kept it fun as well as... More

Excellent all round. Great email and phone communication before our arrival. Accommodation and the in-house meals far exceeded expectations. Beautiful views across the bay from our room and the upstairs terrace. Free shuttle into town was a welcome bonus when we wanted to catch the train to Pompeii.

This is truly a little gem and my husband and I had one of the very best holidays we have had. The food is absolutely fantastic with fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden and despite all the sightseeing we fitted in we have each put on 4lbs in weight! Nothing is too much trouble for AnnaMaria and GianLuigi and... More

Maria & Gianluigi are lovely owners and hosts with excelent english. The villa is reached by their own transportation (a shuttle bus to & from town) due to the lane being too narrow for "normal" vehicles and extremely steep but the views from the balconies are more than worth it. They were both very knowledgeable and were able to advise... More

I booked this on the internet not knowing quite what to expect although reviews on trip adviser were mostly good and I was delighted with my experience of Villa Pane! Lovely setting 4 kms from Sorrento which I walked to twice!! Not too suitable for walking back especially the last few hundred yards as very steep and if you have... More

Villa Pane is in a lovely location in the hills above Sorrento. We found the room was just what we needed despite not being able to get any channels on the T.V., We had a little balcony which was nice but unfortunately not a sea view. We loved the garden and often sat by the pool which had great views.... More

My family loved our cooking lesson with Maria. Maria, her husband and sons run the Villa Pane B&B and restaurant in a lovely location in the hills above Sorrento. Maria was extremely patient with the kids and very instructive. Even though my wife and I are decent cooks, we learned a lot from Maria. It was a real joy to... More

This review is for the cooking school, although I will hopefully return someday to stay at the B & B. My friend and I booked the cooking school through our hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find out we were the only two students that day. Anna Maria and her assistant Anna were lovely. We made bruschetta, croquettes, chicken cacciatore,... More
