You pay for what you get in life and this is no different. I stayed here for a week. Hotel and room was clean but very basic. Batteries in the air con unit didnt work, and the TV signal was weak to say the least. Apart from that a bed and a decent size cupboard for clothing was ok. If... More

I would not recommend my worst enemy to stay in this hotel! It was the worst experience I've ever had. The pool was empty, the wifi didn't work, things were stolen from my suitcase as well as 3 of my friends, and one of my friends was locked in the elevator while she heard staff members laughing and mocking her.... Extremely rude staff, especially the older gentlemen that work the front desk during the evening. A few things were stolen from my friends' suitcases and when I asked why the Wi-fi was not working they just laughed at me. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are more or less clean but the whole building is worse... More

We use this hotel every year for a school trip, the staff are wonderful and have endless patience with the kids. The position is fantastic 15 mins walk to town and there is a spectacular view of Vesuvius. The food is good and the portions very generous.

Everything is average, not so impressive and not so bad. About the room: The room is clean. Not so big and the light is a bit dim. There are only 3 electric sockets in the room, in which only one of them is working. I am only doing a short stay, solo, so it is not a big problem for... More

We visited this property as part of our EF tour group, luckily it was for only 1 night. The property is very outdated and run down. Smells old and musty. Rooms were actually fairly clean which was a bit of a pleasant surprise. Bed were HORRIBLE. Most were a thin mattress sitting on boards across a bed frame. Dining room... More

We booked this hotel last minute as it was available and cheap, thinking at least we had a base and were prepared to accept basic as long as it was clean. In over 15 years of working in the travel industry I have never experienced or even heard of a hotel so bad. Let me start with the positives firstly... More

I spent about 10 days here last August. It is a very basic hotel....I don't think the bar was ever open,no phone or public computer. The water pressure was weak and there was no air in my room. Now the reasons I would probaly stay there again......most of the staff was nice and made an effort to help me when they... More

The staff at Hotel Cavour have gone above and beyond for the past year accommodating my group of over 100 students. Dinner, AC and breakfast are all included! The owner Salvatore is a great man who is always willing to work with our groups to keep our company and clients! Thank you Hotel Cavour!
