My husband and I originally booked a different B&B down the street, however the room we were supposed to be in was having plumbing issues so we were moved to Palazzo Starace. The room was large, but it was very old and dated. We had paid for a room with a balcony facing the main street, but at this hotel... More

My first bed and breakfast stay... It is a great location for activities in the area, very close to the train station and the main square. Fairly good value for the money but again, it is not on the beach or looking on the sea. Ok...breakfast and very helpful staff. We climbed 3 floors to our room which was OK... More

Thanks Massimo and staff for a wonderful stay. It started perfectly with our bags being taken up the stairs to our room 😄 The information you gave us helped us plan our short time. The hotel is close to the train station and easy to find with a map. A few steps to the door and then your luggage gets... More

We found this B&B to be good value for money for our 5 night stay. No complaints about the 60 or so steps to our room, as they are careful to advise people of this in their advertising! The staff were very helpful and provided a pleasant continental breakfast & will boil or scramble eggs for those interested. The location... More

this is a Bed & Breakfast so not a hotel! great location next to the main square and loads of amazing restaurants. Easy walk to the beach, ferry to Capri or train to Pompeii. Great place for a city stay and the staff were wonderful and it was lovely having freshly prepared eggs for breakfast. Just need some tomato ketchup... More

A large group of us recently took over the B&B for a wedding. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond - parking cars for us, helped us with our luggage etc. I stayed in the triple room with two friends. We had plenty of room for all three of us - especially the huge bathroom for us... More

Our stay at Palazzo Starace B&B in Sorrento was a delight. The location was excellent, close to the main Palazzo ,the famous Fauno Bar and many fine shops. Our room was on the small side ( they do do have larger apartments) yet comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was great, Lucy went out of her way to make... More

A fantastic b&b hidden just off the main square in sorrento. The staff are friendly and will do their upmost to accommodate any needs. The hotel was clean and bedrooms good size the only down point were that as a couple we had two single beds pushed together which were on wheels so kept moving with the slightest movement. Other... We were a little bit disappointed with Palazzo Starace, where we stayed for just one night in April. We were certainly grateful for the luggage lift, as our room was up 3 flights of stairs (although we knew this before we booked). The room itself was spacious, but smelled a bit musty when we arrived - like it had been... More

We stayed here for three nights and we loved every minute. The location is perfect! It is just along Corso Italia and a just a few steps away from the Piazza Tasso, restaurants and landmarks. The staff (and owners?) Massimo, Luciana, Amalia and Maximiliano are very helpful and friendly. Massimo even texted me on the day of our arrival to... More
