Located right in the middle of the action, this B&B has comfortable rooms, with your own bathroom and the A/C was cold! The staff was friendly. The 4 flights of stairs wasn't too bad, it was really nice that they had a lift for your luggage. The breakfast @ the cafe a block away is a typical Italian breakfast. It... more

Perfectly located - an easy walk to the train for Pompeii, the boat for Capri, or the bus for Positano. The rooms were bright and clean and a simple Italian style breakfast was included (you get a voucher for a pastry and coffee at the nearby bar). Keep in mind the rooms are located on the 4th floor -- so... more

This hotel was recommended by Rick Steves. We used his Italy book to help us chose hotels for our trip. From the train station, head north a block to Corso Italia and turn left (west), continue past the Piazza Tasso. Look for the Hotel del Corso arch on the right (north) side of the street. Once you found that, directly... more

Our room was actually quite large and nice but the fact that we had to listen to people shouting all night (presumably revelers at one of the bars on the street) really detracted from our 2 nights there. Just when we thought they'd shut up the noise would start up again. I noticed at least one reviewer recommended earplugs but... more

The hotel is on the 2nd floor of an old palazzo. There is no elevator, but a clever cage with a winch takes your luggage up. Our room was rather small but very nicely decorated. The bathroom was huge. The owners are very nice and speak rather good English. They live upstairs, and there is a house phone to call... more

My husband and I (over 60 yo) thought we would have a problem with the steps but they were not bad at all. The location could not be better. Everything was so close. Lots of places to eat within a couple of blocks. We were far enough up from the street that the noise was not a problem. We just... more

This is a nice place to stay in Sorrento. You have to take short showers, as each room has a small hot water heater. The breakfast voucher system is fine although it only consists of a beverage and a pastry, but is better than other B&B's that provide only packaged rolls. You can pretty much walk everywhere you need to... more

After looking at previous reviews I feel guilty with a 4 instead of a 5. Make no mistake that I do recommend this B&B! The good: Great location, clean nice room, nice bathroom, very accommodating, great value, mini bar prices! The bad: Noise bothered my wife (a light sleeper), steps but only if steps present a problem to you, breakfast... more

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast in an incredible location. Right in the middle of downtown walking distance to everything. Mrs. Starace was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Took time when we first got there to answer all of our questions and help us plan our day trips to the Amalfi coast and Pompeii.... more

Stayed for 6 nights there. Used Sorrento as the hub for making day trips all over the Campania region. Owners were very polite, honest and helpful. Room & bathroom were very clean and relatively spacious. Our room had a refrigerator, airconditioning and Satellite TV. Very conveniently located close to Piazza Tasso, within a less than 10 minute walk from the... more
