Great Hotel, lots of character and very nice staff. Food was very good as well with some excellent fish and pasta dishes as you would expect. Hammocks and gardens great and you cannot beat fresh figs picked straight from the tree. The Monastery nestling in the olive groves high above Sorrento and the sunrises and sunsets and the view were... More

This is a truly delightful hotel in an amazing setting. Its an old monastery with thick brick walls and lots of character. There are hammocks hanging from trees and lots of nooks and crannies with shaded seating areas. There is a choice of menu for the evening meal and the starters are as big as the main course. The dining... More

This was my third visit to the wonderful La badia and I will be returning next year. Why? The hotel is in a beautiful location with breathtaking views over to Vesuvius and the Bay of Sorrento. However, the main reason is the atmosphere of the hotel and the warmth of its lovely owners. This hotel gives you an italian experience... More

As PJB67 has said , this really is a lovely hotel in a perfect setting. I travelled here again between 22 Aug and 29 Aug 2014. The owners have really taken on board trip advisor reviews and made many further improvements. This is very much a family run hotel. I loved the work which the family had done in the... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, the hotel was lovely, in a perfect setting overlooking the sea and Sorrento itself. The rooms were well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a sea view room on the first floor and were able to enjoy an amazing firework display whilst we were there, that was in celebration... More

This Hotel may only be 3 star, but this family run hotel is superb, it nestles in olive groves and the views are stunning. Upgraded free of charge after the first day (thank you Maria). The rooms are spotless and the breakfast pastries were lovely. The pool and the surrounding area are clean and there was no need to worry... More

This is a lovely little hotel in a perfect setting. A great place for a romantic break. The staff are excellent, providing a real 'family' service. We used the hotel mini bus to return to the hotel after an evening in town was an unexpected bonus. The Gala dinner on Wednesday was so much fun. All of the guests taking... More

There are two things that stand out for me during our 1o day stay at this hotel, firstly the ambience of being in a large guest house, where the staff get to know you and you feel really welcomed and cared for. The second is the stunning views. We arranged our trip independently after flying to Naples we caught the... More
