There are two things that stand out for me during our 1o day stay at this hotel, firstly the ambience of being in a large guest house, where the staff get to know you and you feel really welcomed and cared for. The second is the stunning views. We arranged our trip independently after flying to Naples we caught the... More

Recently returned from a weeks holiday at Hotel La Badia, booked through Riviera Travel, and it was simply excellent ! the hotel is in a lovely location, albeit up the hillside, but is only a pleasant ten minute walk down into Sorrento, away from all the traffic, with a slight uphill 15 minute return, but what`s the rush when your strolling... Just returned from a weeks stay at La Badia Hotel Sorrento with Riveria Travel. Fantastic place. Very busy schedule but amazing week. Hotel was lovely. Its an old monestry with thick brick walls and lots of character. The gardens and views are amazing. There are hammocks hanging from trees and lots of nooks and crannies with shaded seating areas. There... More

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at La Badia.Having been torn between this hotel and a more expensive one in the centre of Sorrento at the booking stage we were really glad that we opted for this peaceful haven. As others have said, the fact that this hotel is a family concern means that guests... More

This hotel makes such a pleasant change from the identikit, corporate, business orientated hotels that seem unavoidable these days. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they are real people with individual characters, unlike the robots who repeat the company mantra with glazed eyes & expressionless faces in most hotels. Our room was comfortable and had a wonderful large balcony... More

Lived up to all my expectations. Wonderful views over the Bay Of Naples and so many hideaways among the olive groves in which to relax in a comfy deckchair or hammock. Swimming pool delightfully surrounded by hedges of bougainvillea which provided shade as well as being a sun trap. The staff are so welcoming, helpful and cheerful. You certainly feel well-cared... We found this family run hotel perfect for us. All the staff (from the gardener and cleaning ladies to the owner and her lovely mamma) were so nice and nothing was ever any trouble. The hotel which has been in the family for generations was immaculately maintained with a wonderful array of gardens and flowers - these must take so... More

You need to have a car to enjoy the hotel and the drive through Sorrento is challenging, but the accommodations are 3+ star, the view of Naples Bay is outstanding and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is more than adequate and the dinner we had one evening was of reasonable quality, but not memorable. Take the path... More
