We had a lovely stay at the Rivage Hotel for 6 days last September. We were 3 adults + 1 child and we stayed in the Junior Suite. We were quite happy with our accommodation. The room was spacious, clean with very nice fittings and decor. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well. Our room also had a balcony with a view... More

Stayed here in July with our family of 2 adults and 2 children. Location is good and about a 10 minute walk into town along the main road. Nice supermarket located directly across the street. Although room is advertised as having a sea view, the sea is actually quite a distance away and partially obscured by trees, houses, etc. If... More

I unfortunately did not enjoy my stay at Rivage Hotel (summer 2015) for various reasons. ROOM: Extremely noisy - worst i've ever experienced. Constant noise of running water from other rooms (e.g. toilets being flushes, baths being drained, etc.) and the water pipes in the walls. The air-conditioning unit was also loud. Neigbouring guests were also very loud - seems... More

We spent six great nights at this hotel in October, 2015. The location for visiting Sorrento on foot was outstanding. Other couples we knew who were visiting Sorrento at the same time had hotels way up in the hills and required a shuttle bus to transport them into the city. Directly across the street from the hotel is a small... More

Nice hotel stay. But after paying in full through Travelocity, upon check-out on Monday November 9th, the hotel man informed us we owed an additional 120 Euros . We did not have the money, because we were already paid in full through Travelocity. He would not let us leave and insisted we owed an additional 120 Euros, cash only. Now... More

We loved the room when we first entered and had a lovely view as promised, however, after our second day they must have changed cleaners because the cleaning of the room went downhill. We lost half of our towels, the dirty drinking glasses were left on the dressers and a few times we returned to the hotel around 5 to... More

Lovely clean, comfortable hotel at the quiet end of the main street in Sorrento. Built into the hillside so lots of lovely views for those higher up and easy to access all the shops, squares, the train station etc. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts continental and plentiful. We had an economy room on the lowest floor.. a... More

I stayed at the Rivage Hotel with my mom Sept 26-28 2015, the same weekend of the 'Festa del Pesca' & was lucky to score their last room as a result of my last minute itinerary change to avoid rain in Rome! I told myself last time I was in Sorrento, the next time I want to stay at a... More

In a good location on outskirts of Sorrento. This hotel does not look much from the road, it is a single storey building, it is build down into the cliffs so that every room has a full or partial sea view. It is a very classy 3 star hotel, the rooms are modern and well decorated with balconies. The breakfast... More

The hotel was clean and tidy. We paid a little extra to get a sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental and there was a fair variety to choose from. There was an outside pool, which was a little chilly but lovely view over the Sea. We also ate in the outdoor Restaurant, next to the pool... More
