Location is in the heart of Sorrento. It is quiet, excellent food and very good helpful staff. Close to train station so you can make your own way around area. Thoroughly recommend.

I recently spent two weeks at the hotel with my 16 year old son. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and located in the perfect position. We had a room facing the front of the hotel and found it delightful. We travelled a lot but on the days we spent in the town, we found the pool and terrace ideal... More

I stayed in the Michelangelo Hotel for 2 weeks in August, the hotel is in a great location within 5 min walk from the main square of Sorrento and close to every amentity in Sorrento it is a great base for your holiday. The pool is small but sufficient and the sun terrace is great for lazy days around the... More

All the reviews written here (except for a negative one) are true , this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in , clean and so friendly. All the staff are so nice , we had great food and great company in the bar with Giuseppe. I cant fault this hotel we had a fabulous holiday.

This will be our 4th stay at this hotel. We like it so much for its friendliness, cleanliness, hospitality and general charm. We arrived at Midnight 31st July/1st August after being delayed at the airport in Manchester for over 4 hours. But after checking in, taking the bags to the room and being completely drained, we went to the bar... More

After reading the reviews about the Michelangelo, my friend and I were confident that we had made the right choice. It certainly lived up to expectations. The Michelangelo is friendly, well-located and clean. Giuseppe the famous barman, is indeed a delight and a very special person. He is the man in the know and can not do enough for the... More

We travelled to Sorrento in July this year and decided to stay at the Michelangelo Hotel after checking the reviews on Tripadvisor. The hotel is ideally situated and close to the centre of the resort. Sorrento itself is very flat and the only hills are down to the beaches. For 1 euro you can catch a bus! The hotel is... More

This is a full review of what I experienced at the hotel and surrounding areas. Please accept my apologies for any typos I am typing quite fast. Grazie! This Hotel is unpretentious and really is a hidden gem. Close to the town but not loud at night. Close to Buses and trains, but again not loud. The waiters are excellent,... More

Hotel is in central position very close to the bus and train terminus that provides access to Naples and the Amalfi coast. - this would be the main reason for recommending it. Very easy to walk into the center of Sorrento town or down to the harbour. The hotel is clean with helpful staff. Rooms are small but sound insulation... More
