I stayed two nights and could of stayed for much longer!! The Hotel was beautiful and very clean. I checked in via my tour guide Ornella from my trip to Pompei. All very smooth! My room also backed onto the train line but for me this was not a problem. As a single traveller I found the size of the... More

We had a 2 night stay here and absolutely loved it. You are within walking distance to everything. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was continental , there was plenty to choose from. We had dinner included in our package which was a set menu but again, the variety was good. Some people asked for other choices... We stayed here for four nights and found the hotel to be ideally placed with lovely spacious rooms, our room had a private terrace and our travelling companions had a balcony with a table etc. The rooms were clean and unlike other some other reviewers we found our bathroom to be roomy and clean. The food was fairly plain but... More

Having booked a package deal to Sorrento last year to find the hotel was 10 miles away from the city, we decided we must 'Come Back to Sorrento', but stay centrally this time. Well the Michelangelo is ideally placed, especially as the station is just around the corner and only 2.20 Euros to Herculaneum which was wonderful when we got... More

Rooms smell.... Showers are awful and small. Our shower head was not in a good position but facing out onto the bathroom floor. Located right on the train line which runs from 6am. Cigarette smoke comes through the vents from the terrace. The balcony door completely fell off from the hinges so we were unable to let fresh air in.... More

Stayed 2 nights, centrally located in Sorrento. Hotel staff was attentive, food was great, head waiter Sr. Salvadore was excellent! Room was clean and bed was fairly soft (all Americans say Yay!) Highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay in Sorrento.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the hotel. This was a joint wedding anniversary and birthday celebration and the food and service were both excellent. Thanks to Michele for arranging this and Salvatore who was a great host. The celebratory cakes literally added the icing to a memorable occasion.

I have just spent 3 nights in this hotel and was worried about how it would be after reading some reviews on here. However the hotel was lovely, clean, well maintained, pretty and well decorated. It is spacious and my room (413) was lovely with a big bathroom and plenty of space. The bed was comfy and not hard. It... More

Yes it was quirky in a way, unique with antiques and a real interesting atmosphere. I enjoyed it actually, it was handy walking from the hotel into town and the staff seemed really nice too. The room we had unfortunately looked down onto the railway but that was okay, it was a balcony, and our own too!! That bit was... More
