I spent 5 nights at the Hotel Michelangelo in April with a tour group - I had been there 8 years ago with a tour group also. If anything I enjoyed it more this second time. The hotel is warmly decorated and small enough to feel comfortable. The staff at the desk is very helpful and pleasant. I like the... more

I just returned from 5 days at the Hotel Michelangelo. The Michelangelo is a beautiful hotel - not flashy but just generally a pretty and well-kept hotel. Our room was very nice, very clean and attractive. The location of this hotel is perfect; it is within walking distance of the center of town and the shopping areas. Across the street... more

Stayed here for a week in June and was blessed with excellent weather which made the holiday perfect. We had a great room (104) at the front of the hotel facing the road and altough it is a main road it is a one way street where the hotel is and the traffic wasn't a problem even when all the... more

We stayed here for a week from 14th -21st September and have no hesitation in recommending it. The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and the decor is very attractive. Our room (609) backed onto the railway line but trains didn't disturb us. As it's the end of the line the trains are coming... more

Recently returned from a lovely week in the Michelangelo. We found everything was a to a very good standard, the rooms were extremely clean (think the bed linen was changed 3/4 times in our weeks stay), and the food was also good with a varied menu every night. The staff were freindly and polite. We also noticed there was a... more

Well what a great hotel! situated in the heart of Sorrento and close by are the beauitiful breathtaking views of the bay! It is an ideal base to stay, in particular, if you have walking difficulties. We enjoyed a relaxing weeks stay which went all too quickly and there is so much we have yet to see! The hotel was... more

We decided on Sorrento to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and had the Michelangelo recommended to us. Although it faces the bustling Corso Italia it is in a perfect location for a short walk to Piazza Tasso and the bathing platforms and very close to the railway station. The rooms were clean and modern as was the rest of the... more

We've just come back from a weeks holiday in the Michelangelo Hotel. This was the second time that we stayed here (the first being in 2005). Obviously as this was our second visit we really loved the place. The reception staff were helpful, the waiters particularly helpful because if you said that you really enjoyed what you had just eaten... more
