we booked at another hotel but they shipped us here because they were full. they do that a lot in Italy. Its so annoying. Ascot was really crappy for the money we paid. The Ascot is a great location for a stay in Sorrento. It is on a 'main' road so expect some noise - but then you are staying in a central location! The rooms are simply furnished but have everything you need - big wardrobe, plenty of hangers! a fridge and we had a first floor room with a nice balcony... more

The hotel ascot is well placed in Sorrento at the top of the via capo which is the main street. Our package came half board but the food was nothing to write home about.
