To the professional moaners: stayed at villa igea from 22 July till the 31 July, and I can honestly say that the hotel, the location and the staff couldn't satisfy me more, everything so perfect! The hotel it's located a short stroll from the over busy sorrento centre,so it was a bless, with bus connections frequent and prompt just outside the hotel front door...as... More

We have just returned from here having spent a week here. Strange looking hotel at first sight with a petrol station right outside the front. On the other hand it's handy for those with cars and this hotel has a underground garage. The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean - excellent cleaning staff. Would have liked tea or coffee brewing... More

The staff was rude and constantly yelling at anyone who had even the slightest bit of their feet on their old dingy chairs. Everything was old, outdated and dirty feeling. The "breakfast" was merely an assortment of bread. The room didn't have a 'do not disturb' sign and we were displeased to find that while we were gone, the cleaning... More

This hotel is some way out of Sorrento on a hillside overlooking the Bay of Naples. My room on the second floor had an excellent view and the room was clean and well presented. The hotel has a bar and pizzeria nearby, but you will have to travel further to find more bars and restaurants. The pool is quite big... More

Our family stayed here for 1 week in July and I don't understand why people are complaining. The rooms are clean with plenty of hot water. The staff could not be more friendly in particular Francisco. We were pleasantly surprised by the food as were other guests we spoke to, no complaints. I think those who were disappointed should pay... More

Stayed here about a month ago. Dead rats, ants, awful food, lights didn't work, TV didn't work, staff unhelpful. The only saviour was the price. Avoid this hotel at all costs! Only place the wifi works is in reception. Poor

I had the worst time ever in that hotel. I went on a school trip and had a horrible time. The rooms are really cold and the air conditioner doesn't work and the beds only have a small, thin blanket to cover yourself with. The windows didn't shut properly so you could hear all the noise from outside and the... More

Although the rooms were acceptable - air-con controlled by the hotel but OK - the worst feature of this hotel was the food. We were half-board an attempted 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meal and found them not just awful but inedible - and we are not fussy eaters. We gave up and ate out, even the little family-run restaurant... More

I stay at Villa Igea in august 2012. One of the good think of this hotel is the position, quiet neighborhood and a good view to the gulf of Naples. The swimming pool is large and clean. The breakfast is almost OK…Italian style…with a lot of sweet food…some cereals, cheese and yogurt, tea and American coffee ( not very good... More
