On the whole the hotel would be recommended. The food was good, the room clean and bright with balcony to relax on. Swimming pool needed updating. Pleasant location with a 20 minute walk to the town if you don't mind walking, although on quite a busy road with no pavements for the first few metres. There are local buses which... More

We previously stayed in the Hotel Desiree a couple of nights, which was a disaster! This hotel is much more in line with what you would expect. Comfortable room, with air con. Clean reasonable bathroom, with a pleasant view of the sea (albeit through the trees). Decor of the hotel is a little dated, but does just pass. The breakfast... More

The hotel is a 20 minute walk out of town on the main road and as most reviews state there is no sidewalk for 500 metres or so. Don't be put off by this, its perfectly safe even with an average road sense. The local drivers are all aware. The walk down the hill gives a stupendous view of the... More

Had a 7 day break with Newmarket Holidays at this hotel. The food was average at best, the wine list showed about 15 white wines but they only had 3 available. Rooms described as having balcony but friends stayed in room 100 which had balcony overlooking wall on ground floor, our balcony on 2nd floor overlooked olive on hillside. On... More

We booked this hotel as a basic well priced half board option, and as a well placed base for exploring the Amalfi Coast was on the whole exactly what we expected. We are a 43 & 60 year old couple with energy and a love of fun and interesting people/places. Our last holiday was Magaluff ;-) The hotel itself is... More

Spent five very pleasant days here on half board basis. This is a medium sized family run hotel. With the exception of one elderly waiter, staff were extremely polite and helpful. There is a flight of twenty steps from the road up to reception. Fortunately, we were seen struggling with cases and a member of staff came to help but... More

We arrived late in the evening and were given a lovely welcome and a meal in the restaurant which we weren't expecting as it was so late. Our room even though old fashioned was full of charm and character and had a lovely balcony which was in the sun all day and had a lovely view over the trees. The... More

Some members of staff were very friendly and helpful while others were not so helpful. Service at mealtimes was a bit hit and miss, one evening we waited half an hour to be served. The room was clean with fresh towels and bedding. Luckily our room was at the back of the hotel so it was quiet and we were... More

I have just returned from a weeks holiday at this family run hotel. I holidayed with Newmarket Holidays. The hotel was spotlessly clean, fresh towels were provided every day. The food was really good, a continental style buffet breakfast with a choice of cold meats and cheese, cereals, croissants, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages, toast that you... More
