We stayed in Sorrento as a base to explore Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Herculaneum during a short break so the hotel was really just for sleeping and breakfast. This hotel is less than a minute from the main piazza and Duomo, and ten minutes walk to the train and bus stations so very convenient in location, and also close to... More

I Stayed 5 nights as part of a tour at this hotel. Centrally located, within waking distance to marina, shopping and dining. Conveniently located acroos the street from taxi stand. The continental breakfast was excellent. The aroma of freshly baked breads drifted up the staircase each morning.. Wifi service was poor. The noise from the club across the street and... More

Located not far from train station (who's elevator actually worked), in one of the main Piazza's. Near shops, lots of cafe's, and the port. You can walk up & down to the port or take a taxi. Rooms looked antique but very clean, shower small but typical of Europe. Front desk controls air but they were very accommodating to adjust... More

I booked this place for it's central location. There is no bar and food is not available except breakfast which was good. Here in the UK we would call it a guest house. Getting back to the location it is right in the middle of town and convenient for the hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants for which Sorrento is... More

A clean, well kept, friendly hotel with easy access to the delightful city of Sorrento. Great for a sightseeing base. The breakfasts were more than adequate and the local bars around the square were all good.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Villa di Sorrento, checking in on June 19 and checking out on June 21. We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was easy to get to from the train station and even though it is in the heart of Sorrento, our room was quiet at night. Our room for three wasn't... More

Just returned from 9 day stay, excellent location (moments from center), nearby to train, bus and port (walking distance) as well as ALL the shops, restaurants, clubs etc, etc, hotel is dated but that adds to it, well maintained, clean, charming, quaint. Staff very friendly and helpful. BUT if you have a street side room (as we did) expect to... More

Nothing to complain about really. It is a little dated but priced to match. Location is hard to beat as it is just off the main street. Staff was friendly but we were a little worried about them requiring us to leave the room key behind and not really checking identities before returning the key to us. We did not... More

We spent a week at this hotel. Ideal central location as everything is in within easy walking distance. Make sure you check out your room location. My friend was allocated a rear room, supposedly a double but it was small, cramped with two single beds and little room to move in, a horrid view over the back yard After one... More

Our room was small but attractively decorated. Bathroom was drop dead gorgeous - with a turquoise tile floor and walls covered with white, blue and turquoise designs. Breakfast was excellent and very generous. What we did not like: 1. Noise from the street at night. Even though I had asked for a quiet room, we got a room overlooking the... More
