Perfectly adequate hotel with attentive, friendly staff; a nice, relaxing bar area and enjoyable breakfasts! This hotel's location could not be any better, being just moments away from the main centre of Sorrento.

Altho the hotel was a bit drab it was quiet, comfortable, very clean, and friendly staff, not for those wanting glitz and glamour. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities. As our flight was delayed, we did not arrive at the hotel until 1am. We were told the bar was closed and we were unable to get a drink...not even water. (not very international!) Lovely Hotel. Perfect location. Spotlessly clean, great staff. I cannot believe anyone could criticise this hotel, it is great value. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast was pastries, cakes, biscuits, boiled eggs, toast, different types of bread, yoghurts, fruits, fruit juices, tea/coffee, cereals. We originally booked with Hotel Tourist but our booking was transferred to the Carlton a few days before we arrived due to roadworks causing some sort of problem with the rooms. Obviously we were a bit concerned as we weren't sure what to expect but we needn't have worried in the slightest as the Carlton was great value for money!... More

Just back from spending a week at this hotel and I was truly disappointed. Firstly the hotel is not a four star hotel more like a two star.
