We didn't stay in Palazzo Marziale (although I wish we had) but were fortunate enough to eat in the restaurant and can honestly say that it was the best meal we ate whilst in Italy. The staff were amazing, the setting is incredible and the food was delicious. My only regret was that we didn't discover the restaurant earlier so... More

Staying at Palazzo Marziale was one of those incredible experiences that my family and I will never forget. This hotel is absolutely stunning and a must-visit when staying in Sorrento. The decor and furnishings were just exquisite. The rooms were lovingly decorated (by the owner Paola) to such a high standard, with careful attention to detail. They were contemporary and... More

My initial visit to Sorrento was outstanding, due in part to my staying at The Palazzo Marziale. This is a wonderful , clean, charming hotel, walking distance to the plaza. Since this is home the owner Signora Paola Savarese , her family lives on the top floor, she has personally decorated all of the spacious guest rooms with their own... More

We held our wedding reception at the Palazzo in August this year and it was wonderful. We met Paola, the owner, the week before the reception and nothing was too much trouble to her. The garden room is absolutely beautiful and a perfect location for your dream Italian style wedding. The food was delicious and the wines were perfect for... More

My husband and I did a tour of all the Amalfi Coast, Rome and Florence, but as we were greeted by Paola, the owner, we weren't greeted by anyone, she's very kind and her presence make the difference! The hotel is beautiful and unique, worth its weight in gold! It was our best holiday in Sorrento and we have been... More

We held our wedding reception at palazzo marziale in May 2014. Everything was perfect and I cannot thank Paola and her team enough for this. We had around 50 guests (some children) and asked for exclusive use so that we wouldn't have to worry about other people eating there. The venue is beautiful, exactly what we wanted - rustic yet... We had the loveliest stay in this hotel last week. Rooms - gorgeous decor, so luxurious and Italian. Super high ceilings, giant, comfortable bed and a jacuzzi bath tub. Breakfast - was delicious. Freshly baked cakes and pastries, cured meats, cheeses and fruit platters. Location - pretty much central to Sorrento. Walking distance of all the piazza's, restaurants, bars and... More

Incredibly good! Stayed here for two nights when going on a round trip in the Sorrento area. By far the best hotell (and we are normally spoiled with 4&5 star hotels). Servicelevel, rooms, decor, breakfast everything was of highest possible standard! We Will for sure return!

Palazzo Marziale is in a beautiful location and the food was amazing, but unfortunately for us the rest of the experience wasn't what we expected for our perfect wedding day. Firstly, on arrival, we didn't know where we were sitting and nobody cared to let us know, so us and our guests were hovering around not really sure on what... More

Palazzo Marziale is truly a gem! I have never seen such personal service in a hotel before. The hotel called the driver to make sure he picked us up from the train station and that everything was good. They also arranged a 8 hour private driving tour of the amalfi coast which we would highly recommend and hotel transfers from... More
