Perched on the cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples, the Grand Hotel Riveria is in a beautiful location. The Hotel and staff were great, good beds, dinner in the dining room was lovely. We were tempted to eat there again but were drawn away by the many other fine restaurants choices in Sorrento. Lovely decor, great beach/pier on the Mediterranean waters... More

My group (8 ppl) stayed at this hotel early this month. We got 4th floor, which is under the dinning room on 5th floor. Imagine the noises we have to bare until they closed. But that's not the point. Next morning we came up for breakfast. Sunrise got through one side of the dining room, the other side have excellent... More

The lobby of the Grand Hotel Flora is the nicest part of the hotel. The rooms give the impression of former opulence and grandeur in the early to mid 1900's, but has now fallen into a bit of disrepair. Rooms are hot with no windows - just a door to the balcony that we propped open overnight so we could... More

We stayed at the Grand Flora for 4 nights in October as part of a tour of Italy. Our tour group really liked all other hotels on our tour – but the consensus from the group was that the Flora was a disappointment. PRO’s: -The lobby and bar area were updated and well kept. The staff at the bar was... More

Staying at Grand Flora was very relaxed and comfortable. Nothing pretentious, but everything was there and the standard was very good. My room was quite large by Italian standards. It was well presented and immaculately clean. The breakfast was substantial and lovely. The stand out for me was the cocktails and general bar service in the evening. The bar person... More

This was what all our group kept saying about this hotel--it is FAR from a 4 star. The lobby is nice but everything after that is shabby, unkempt, or just not working. My craptastic single room was on the ground floor and I got almost no sleep for the 4 nights I was there. There are no rugs or sound... More

This hotel is lovely. The decoration and furnishings are that of a typical Italian hotel and is spotlessly clean. The staff cannot do enough for you and are really friendly without being imposing. You can hear the noise from the road when on the balcony if in a room at the front of the hotel. The view is of a... More

We (a couple) stayed here for a week, 3-10 October. The hotel is of a high standard, marble, decorative tiles and inlaid wood throughout. The staff, especially the waiters were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was very good, as was the service. and general cleanliness. Negatives: It is right on a busy main road opposite a petrol station.... More

Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. This hotel offers a reasonable service. I can't comment on the price because it was part of an all inclusive package which included air travel and transfers. We were quite satisfied with the facilities and location. It is an easy walk into Sorrento where there are numerous bars, cafes... More
