Stayed for two nights as part of Globus Italian Mosaic tour. The hotel is in a fantastic location - a very short walk to the plaza (about 1 or 2 blocks). We stayed in room 101 which was large with a balcony and had a 'view' of part of the garden. The floor was totally tiled in very green and... More

Sorry, I was one of those American tourists coming off a bus. Cesare Augusto was the hotel of choice on a tour. It was fine. Clean, lots of hot water, big enough for 2 people, and comfortable beds. The food was more than adequate at breakfast and the catered meals were very good. It was perfectly located--a short walk (1... More

The initial impression was good. It was very central with a immense and elegant lobby and friendly staff. So far so good. The rooms were large and rather sparse, but not unpleasantly so, although the bathroom looked like it could do with a refit. On closer inspection however, the bathroom revealed some horrors. The floor and the bidet were covered... More

Just back from a wonderful stay in Sorrento. Hotel is in a perfect location to explore the city and visit Capri from the harbour. Stayed half board and food was great ! Staff friendly especially the lovely waiter Ugo, funny and attentive!

This hotel was a last minute substitute for the hotel we should have been in. Our fears of being in a poor hotel were not realised. On arrival our check-in was quick and simple. We were in our room within a few minutes with our chunky key! The staff were very helpful and friendly, we had a balcony with a... More

We went for a break in March, it was sunny all week but not shorts weather. The hotel was very central which was handy for tassa square and the shops. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had breakfast which was basic but was okay and then we ate out. We liked the restaurant Syrenuse just on the square. The... More

My wife & I had ten days fabulous based here on a "Roads Scholar" during the month of May. Roof top pool/grill area fun for relaxation & overview of the town. Nice garden area and quiet views of neighboring Lemon groves. Easy walk to town and to our favorite restaurante " The Red Lion"

A well located hotel that ticks all the box's in providing comfortable and clean accommodation with a willingness by staff to assist. The varied shopping and cafe options are all within 10 minutes walk, only challenge were the narrow footpaths. But the walk takes you over a deep gorge overgrown but with historical ruins.

Several blocks from the main drag/ ferry area. Nice room with large balcony. Short walk (as you can see from my pic) to the ferry area to Capri. restaurant in house was ok but with all the places we had eaten, some acts were hart to follow.

We spent two nights in this hotel. Centrally located. Ate dinner and breakfast with no complaints. Beverages were served from a machine, but were always hot and to our liking. Yes, tissues in the bathroom would have been helpful. Staff were very pleasant.
