This was our fourth visit to Sorrento the previous three to the Hotel Nastro Azzurro. we thought that the Nastro was good but in our opinion Minerva outshines the Nastro for location, for food and for service. Opening our room balcony window your view of the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the background whilst overlooking Sorrento was breathtaking. Only... More

I have been a guest of Hotel Minerva every year since 2008 and dear Antonietta and her wonderful staff always excel in making each stay extremely relaxing and comfortable. I have enjoyed their warm hospitality every time. Hotel Minerva is tastefully furnished, with lovely, bright colours everywhere which complement its gorgeous setting. My rooms have been spacious and clean, each... More

We had a fantastic stay at the gorgeous Minerva. It ticked all the boxes for us: location, room quality, service and food. All excellent! Our view from room 507 was breathtaking day and night. The food was delicious with good choices and great desserts! The dining staff were so efficient and friendly, mealtimes were a real pleasure sitting on the... More

I recently stayed at Hotel Minerva with my granddaughter and would like to add to the positive comments others have made here, especially my appreciation for the help Nello extended in contacting a doctor when we needed one, helping me arrange transportation to the airport, figure out how to do the Poseiden thermal waters on the island of Ischia on... Stayed in the Minerva Hotel for 6 nights as part of our honeymoon. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend the hotel. There are beautiful views over the bay. We were on the fifth floor and had a large balcony. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was gorgeous and we loved looking out at... More

Just arrived back from the Minerva and I can honestly say it has been one of the best holidays ever. The hotel is in a position with stunning views and close to the centre of town. Spotlessly clean and the meals are very good. The only criticism would be that we were in the annex room 106 nothing wrong with... More

This property has a HUGE terrace which overlooks Sorrento - it was absolutely amazing ! Even our room, #505, had a spacious balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. We danced on the terrace one evening to the sounds of a keyboard player. We were also impressed with the huge breakfast spread, eaten on the terrace of course, and loved... More

Hotel Minerva: Just returned from a 10 day stay in Sorrento at the Hotel Minerva. It is a quaint hotel with lots of character and is very clean and quiet, with amazing views across to Vesuvius, Sorrento, and the bay of Naples. The staff are generally very friendly and helpful and do their best to meet any requests you may... More

Where do you begin ? The HUGE terrace overlooking the city of Sorrento was phenomenal and the balcony from our room - #505 - was spacious too. There was a keyboard player on the terrace one night, and we danced for an hour overlooking this amazing part of Italy. When we tried to take the bus to catch the ferry... More
