We ,with 80 other peoples from Norway, stayed there for 3 weeks in springtime. Old hotel, with nice view over Napoli bay, friendly staff,ok food.Sorrento is a small, old town, heavy trafic . No real beachproneade, but clear water so is it posible to take a swim from the 2 small habours. We will not return,it is expensive and heavy trafic.

This visit comprised myself and my boyfriend Mike along with Harry, his father and Harry's friend Marlene. Harry Hacker was based in Italy on operational duty with 60 Squadron Bomber Command during WWI. He flew in a Wellington Bomber. I have so much respect, love and admiration for Harry who flew 39 missions and was younger than my own son... More

The walk up the hill to the hotel was steep but it was worth it! The view from our room was gorgeous and the room + balcony were spacious, airy, and had a wonderful southern Italian feel. We really used the hotel as a base for our southern Italian exploring but the concierge was helpful with advice and tips on... More

My husband and I went to Italy on our honeymoon and sorrento was one of our last stops. The room in this hotel was huge and gorgeous. We were given a suite that was set on its own path away from the rest of the rooms with an unobstructed view of the water. The staff was extremely helpful in booking... More

Myself and my parter (lesbian couple) visited last April. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Everyday you could check the weather in reception and each evening we enjoyed happy hour at the bar. Staff would always say hello as you walked around and helpful to advise visiting attractions without having to join big groups of people on group tours. The... More

We stayed at the Minerva for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had a bright, spacious balcony room with a spectacular view across the Bay to Vesuvius. The roof top pool was a great place to relax with cool refreshments. Breakfast each morning on the terrace was plentiful and of good variety. It was an easy walk down... More

Cara Signora Antonietta, cari amici, My name is Dan (Daniele) and I stayed at your hotel with my lovely wife Alina between 19-26 April 2013 when I celebrated a very special occasion in my life, my 50th birthday. You even surprised us with a bottle of Champagne and cake on my birthday making me feel like celebrating amongst friends. Thank... More

We recently spent several days at the Hotel Minerva in Sorrento, Italy. The place comes across as a family run hotel with wonderful service and very comfortable rooms with all the amenities necessary for a very pleasant stay. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the bay which I heartily recommend as there is always activity on the water below. The... More

This hotel was fantastic. It's not a five star luxury hotel, but it's a very good 4 star in a great location. If you like views what look like postcards while you eat, this place is for you! The views are breathtaking, truly beautiful. The service here is excellent. We had a large group staying and every morning they put... More
