We had a 3 bed apartment in this lovely B&B, spacious, clean and wonderful! Would highly recommend. Good value for money, Fantastic location in the heart of Sorrento . Be prepared to carry bags up multiple flights of stairs! We were worried about the street party outside on the Saturday night but there was no noise in the room! The... More

There is something a bit magical about coming into an interior courtyard and staircase to get to Casa Astarita. You almost feel like it might once had been someone's home. We had a lovely room on the front. While there is noise outside the double pane windows block it quite well when closed. I loved the blue and white tile... More

"Look carefully" for the brown door and enter for theB&B Up a flight of stairs, you will find a charming and hospitable place to stay. We had two rooms, which were charmingly tiled, colorful and comfortable! A communal table is available for plentiful and abundant breakfasts. Everyone was lovely . Simple and easy and a fabulous location!!!

We had a room at the back and the music and crowd yelling from the outside dance at the English Inn from 11 pm to at least 1 am was too loud to sleep through. Although the room was nice and the staff were friendly, I would never consider staying there again.

This is a nice charming place in Sorrento with very friendly owners. However, it is located next door to a very loud bar that plays extremely loud music until very late at night. I was supposed to stay several days, but I checked out after one night and left. Some reviewers suggest getting a room at the back to avoid... More

The room was fine until the dance party started at the English Inn under our balcony. Insanely loud. Its almost midnight and its still going. I would really like to be able to go to sleep when I want to and not whenever they decide to shut their music off. We have an early train to catch in the morning... More

Casa Astarita provides a central location (convenient to Sorrento attractions/bus/trains). The rooms and amenities were perfect, well designed and spotless. The breakfasts were bountiful with varied choices and everyone was very helpful and accommodating. If your purpose is to have a place to stay while spend time exploring Sorrento, Pompeii, Positano, Almalfi, Capri... this is a perfect choice. This is... More

This is a convenient little bed and breakfast in the heart of Sorrento. Rooms are cheerful and the owner could not be more helpful. What a delight this B&B was after 9 nights in hotels. It is an easy 8 block walk from the train station through a lovely area. Even in the dark and rain, pulling our suitcases we... More

Whoever the electrician was that wired the bathroom so you cannot have a light on in the bathroom without the fan also being on, should be shot. Nothing against bathroom fans but they are noisy and don't need to be on the entire time one is in the bathroom! Unlike other places we have stayed in Italy though, the owner... More

Just to say that the standard has gone down. No limoncello is offered at grandma's fireplace. I went to Casa Astaria about 8 years for my friend's wedding and the welcome is totally different and the limoncello was always near the fireplace. The place needs a bit of loving and tender care. Saying that though the lady that the young... More
