Staying at Casa Astarita is like staying in a beloved aunt's home - cozy, very clean and accommodating. The location is great - very near Piazza Tasso, walking distance to the circumvesuviana and near my favorite church, the Sanctuary of our Blessed Mother of Carmel. It is staffed by very pleasant, friendly and helpful people - Alfonso, his mom and... More

This B&B is a paradox. On one side is horribly noisy, bar and the rooms on that side of the B&B, though very nice, is unworkable for sleeping before 4 a.m. On the other side of the B&B, the rooms are delightfully quiet. We stayed 3 nights, and the first night was in a gorgeous, top-floor room, but it overlooked... More

We stayed here for a family tour of Italy, we loved all the tile work threw out the B&B. I had a room on the street side of the building and the balcony was a nice addition to the city view. Breakfast was nice and the walk around the town was easy. I walked to the train station and took... More

Good location in Sorrento, nice large clean rooms, good selection at breakfast - each coffee in individually brewed and good selection of pastries, buns, meat and cheese. Also there is a bottle of lemonchello out to pour yourself an after dinner digestif. While in Sorrento make sure to check out the main street stroll each night - peaks around 10pm... More

We stayed at this great b&b for three nights while in Sorrento. It's perfectly located and the hosts are very nice and service minded. The room we had was a two floor duplex and it was very cool and clean. The breakfast is thought through and yummy with different breads and yoghurt, juice and pastries and the sweet woman makes... Magical little place. Beautifully detailed bedrooms, finished extremely well. Great for people watching on the balcony, yet felt private and sound proof once the doors are closed at night. Decent breakfast with good service. Well worth a stay.

We had a great two-week stay at Casa Astarita. The location couldn't be better. It is located on Sorrento's main street, right in the middle of all the action. At night, the street is closed to motor traffic and many street performers come out to entertain tourists and locals who gather to walk up and down the street. Casa Astarita... More

This place is not a hotel, but a B&B. So the quality of the breakfast matters. This pace gives maybe one of the most memorable ones. the location is excellent , place is clean, service is friendly. The only downsides for people with mobility problems...... lots of stair climbing is required in this building

I purposely requested for a room facing the front and although we could hear the noise from the bars and restaurants (no vehicles in the evening) we slept well, probably because we always came back tired from the day's full activities. Nevertheless, I like to hear the vibrancy of a town no matter the time of day. The owner Ana... More
