We stayed in a double room here and absolutely loved it. Our room was so cozy. It had a fireplace and a beautiful balcony. The bathroom was so cute with colorful tiles. The staff was so friendly here. We were driving to Sorrento and had a little trouble finding it, but someone came out and met us- in the pouring... more

I was in Sorrento with a friend for a conference that was being held at the Sorrento Palace Hilton, but due to the cost of that hotel, we had to look elsewhere for a place to stay. I found Casa Astarita on Trip Advisor, and was so glad I did. We arrived in the early afternoon to find a note... more

We stayed here for four days. The room was absolutely lovely and large (for Italy). We stayed in the Romantica room. It had a window onto the central courtyard, and was quiet. Breakfast was a lovely spread of croissants, made-for-you espresso, fruit, cheese, and juice. There is free internet in the main room, which was very handy. more

My husband and I stayed at Casa Astarita for 3 nights in December. It was a great home base for sightseeing in Sorrento. It's in the heart of the old city and feels like you're getting a peak into real Sorrento city life (sharing an entrance and courtyard with other apartments). We had not problem finding the owners to check... more

Casa Astarita was absolutely lovely. As two young female friends travelling we felt the most secure and comfortable we had for our whole trip. Breakfast was great and having access to the fridge for extra snack and bottled water at no cost whenever we wanted was a bonus as well (but this may be the norm for a EUD100 per... more

The bedroom was probably the biggest room we had on our trip. If you are going to arrive later in the evening, let them know in advance. We arrived late - we went up, but the door was locked. When we walked back downstairs, the women greeted us coming across the street. I guess she had been eating across the... more

We spent 4 nights at Casa Astarita in June. We were also given the "Magica" room. Fortunately, another room came available for the next 3 nights so we didn't have to endure the nightly pounding beat from the disco. Aside from that room, the breakfast was a standard Italian fare, the accomodations were nice and roomy, sheets could use replacement... more

I recommend this property - there are just some things one should know first. I recommend it because the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the location is great, and the breakfast room - which has a large 8-person table in it for 'family-style' seating - is a great place to meet other travelers staying at the inn. There is... more

Besides the fact no one really runs the front desk, this B & B is located on the main strip of Sorrento. It is quiet, clean, and has food available to you all times of the day to snack on as well as an impressive breakfast display. I think it was quite the bargain for the price we paid during... more

You know you are staying in a B&B which is owned by an Interior Desigers when the room is tastefully decorated, but there is a fundemental problem and that is the fact that the room "Magica" overlooks the local disco. The disco itself is loud and continues past 4am every night (not just the weekends) and the room, which has... more
