New hotel just outside Sorrento. The room we were given was not dazzling but had everything in it and was comfortable enough. The hotel has a small parking space outside which is a big plus. There is a bus stop close by to reach town in 5 minute without taking the car.

We were a group of seven people who stayed at the hotel in May. All of us felt that this hotel has a service and a friendly staff that you do not experience very often. The rooms were fresh and clean, we had a very nice view of the bay. The breakfast was good and in the afternoons there was... More

We had three nights at Hotel Spicy and the staff were very attentive and helpful. There's a great bar with English-speaking staff just up the road! Our second floor room had a small balcony with wonderful views. The room was adequate in terms of size and the bed very comfortable. The Manager is aware that the bathrooms need updating and... More

Many thanks to all the staff, who made our stay one to remember. Staff could not have been more helpfull, always with a smile, breakfast was good, enough to set you up for the day and hotel and rooms where spotless, many reviews mention small shower, they are ok, water is always hot, bathroom spotless and very clean towels and... This hotel is very basic. If you look at the hotel's website, it appears that the pictures of the room are computer generated. The hotel is very clean. It is about the quality of a private room at a hostel which was fine for our purpose. The staff was very nice and accommodating. You could see the water however not... More

I stayed at Spicy two nights in May. A 20 minute walk to town, a small balcony overlooking the bay, for the price I thought it was great. The staff was friendly, the breakfast fair to good. My bathroom was dated but clean.

Stayed here with a friend in November. The room we had was great with an amazing balcony view overlooking the beautiful bay! The hotel is located uphill from the town of Sorrento so can be a bit hard to get to compared to the option of staying in town. We walked in/out of the town a few times but it... More

I've been to the Amalfi coast over 40 times. I've stayed in multiple hotels in multiple locations. One of the hotels I've frequented time and time again is Hotel Spicy. Hotel Spicy was recently rennovated, and gets better every time I go. I've read some of the reviews of this hotel and I must completely disagree with the poor reviews.... More

Don't be fooled by the Cute pictures and the lobby/restaurant decor. The rooms are very shabbily redone. The bathrooms are impossibly small, no place to pout your toiletries bag. The shower cubicle door is so narrow so that if you are over 60 kg, you cant squeeze in. The one side of the hotel has great views of the coast,... More

Hotel was very funky with its own bar that was open late. It was good to be able to relax outside at night with friends. Breakfast was very good and the hotel room was a decent size. The only issues were the ants in the rooms which none of the staff were that bothered about and being asked to pay... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Spicy is not just a hotel. It is a way of life, a way of thinking, a way of being. Born from the friendship of two young entrepreneurs in Sorrento, the Hotel Spicy Sorrento reflects an entirely new concept of hospitality: sparkling, colorful and fun. Here, everything is spicy in the truest sense of the word: select lounge music that accompanies you through every space of the hotel, our team that is always smiling and helpful, as only we in Sorrento know how to be, and the inherently modern feel of the rooms. Even Sorrento, with its monuments and its romantic atmosphere, is more fun, more unique... More spicy! ... more   less
