We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July 2014. The room had spectacular views over Sorrento and across to Naples. We had our own private balcony with deck chairs looking over the bay to Naples and a smaller balcony with table and chairs that overlooked Sorrento bay and town. The hotel has its own private beach which is... More

This boutique hotel is full of old Italian charm. The lobby is cozy and includes a small bar to enjoy some spirits while drinking in the gorgeous view of the Bay of Naples. Wood and wrought iron accents, tastefully decorated throughout. It could use some sprucing up so it's a bit shabby-chic but I wouldn't exactly classify it as run... More

I stayed here as a single traveller for two days in July this year; my reason for coming to Sorrento was that I had booked a day trip to Capri - otherwise, Sorrento is not my idea of a great place to stay as it is crammed full of foreign tourists in the summer and, even though that's what I... Hotel La Tonnarella in Sorrento was amazing. The room we received was more like a house. It contained a large study, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a privet garden with seating facilities, a lower level that contained a bathroom and a huge Jacuzzi or maybe I should say – a small swimming pool. The hotel is located on a mountain looking... More

The views from the hotel are amazing, maybe the best in Sorrento, but that is what you are paying for here. Our biggest complaint was the noise. Doors slam all day long. It sounds like you are staying with 100 angry teenagers. We could also hear anytime anyone above, below or next to us moved their balcony furniture. The room... More

This hotel is worth the rate. It is clean, beautiful and the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was really yummy and the coffee hot and strong. It is a bit out of the city center but well worth the trip. The restaurant for dinner was pricey but very good.

First of all, let me say that the views are spectacular and the staff (especially the breakfast staff) were outstanding! That being said, the hotel lacks from upkeep. The "beach" was run down and full of trash and glass. Too bad, since it looks like it once was a great place to relax. Our room had black mold on the... More

We stayed for 6 nights in a superior room (#14) so we are sure we had the best view in Sorrento. The room was a good size, has tea and coffee making, very clean with a comfortable bed and both a small and large balcony complete with table & chairs and hammock. The view from both balconys looked over Sorrento... More

We have stayed here for three nights. The hotel is very good. The view is great and rooms are very clean. The dinner we had was terrible. Fish was not freash. Other dishes were just as bad. We paid 80 Euros but ate almost nothing.
