I can only really repeat all the positives that have been written previously, great views, great food, great part of the world. Only downside on this holidays was Thomsons TBH as in being held at the airport car park on arrival for 1.5 hrs in the heat with no air con allowed. Plus the price of the excursions.

Wow, what a place this is. From the moment we arrived we were looked after even when we arrived at 11pm. Matteo and his team waited up to feed us after our journey. We liked our room when we arrived but we had hoped for an upgrade as we were on our honeymoon. It turns out that Thomson forgot to... More

This was a package tour hotel booked through Thomson Holidays. I can't rate this hotel highly enough. Even although we arrived after 11 o'clock at night, we were immediately routed by reception to the restaurant where a 3 course meal was awaiting us. This is a hotel which appeared to attract British & Irish couples with only a few children... More

and dinner was excellent. The hotel consists of three buildings all connected, and countless lifts. The first task is to find your room, ours was on the 9th. floor, two lifts in different buildings and a long walk! It's rumoured that people have gone looking for their rooms and never been seen again! Our room was functional and had a... More

Our first "proper" hotel experience with two teenagers, we requested two adjoining rooms, which were lovely and had amazing views out over the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Although on a busy road out of Sorrento, the noise in the room once the windows were closed (to activate the air conditioning) was minimal. We were on the third floor at... More

We had a pleasant seven days at the Hotel Bristol. The hotel is maintained to a very high standard, clean, well decorated and pleasant. The pool area had ample sun-beds and relatively quiet with the occasional screaming child but nonetheless fairly pleasant. The restaurant food is good but not exceptional, there is little warm food to cater for those who... More

We decided we would get married in Italy about a year ago. After some research we found the Bristol Hotel. While we did have a wedding planner, nothing could have prepared us for how amazing this hotel actually is. Firstly, the rooms were quite awesome. We had a junior suite which was an extremely large room with its own balcony... More

Wow, what a fabulous Hotel ! If I'm ever lucky enough to go back to Sorrento I can't think of staying anywhere but here ! The location is perfect, overlooking Sorrento, the Bay of Naples and looking out to Mount Vesuvius. I'd e-mailed the hotel beforehand to ask if they could give us a nice room as we were there... My wife and I spent a week here during our honeymoon. The junior suite we stayed in was magnificent, very spacious and comfortable with stunning views of the bay of Naples, Vesuvius and Sorrento below. The staff we always cheerful, friendly and helpful. Any requests made of them were instantly accommodated with a smile. An excellent hotel and an excellent... More

Just back from our Honeymoon of 11 nights at the Bristol. What can I say other than we couldn't have booked a better hotel!! From the moment we arrived the Service was outstanding - particularly from the gentlemen in the Restaurant. We have never experienced Service as good in any other hotel. They were all so well mannered. We had... More
