I have just returned from a week's holiday at the Tramantano. The hotel is an excellent position with amazing views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The gardens are beautiful with lots of seating. The pool was a bit small but there were plenty of sunbeds. The breakfast was disappointing the hot food was barely warm. In order to... More

We stayed at the Tramontano for a week in May. We booked it through Citalia, asking for rooms near each other and with double beds not single, it was perfect, everything we asked for and more.. We had booked 2 garden view rooms, but when we entered our rooms we were delighted to have been given a free upgrade to... More

Back home today from 5 nights in this hotel. We stayed in room 223 and were pleased with the room - we had only booked a basic room as this was a bit of a last minute additional holiday - our room was very comfortable and had a terrace (no views) but we were happy with what we got for... More

My wife and I booked a trip to Italy to celebrate our 38th anniversary seven (7) months prior to leaving and for the entire time since booking it, our agent kept saying the hotel would not confirm until later whether or not they would upgrade our room to one with a water view. That was even though we agreed to... More

As a couple we stayed for 6 days in the Tramontano and were not disappointed. This hotel is ideally located close to Tasso Square and you can walk everywhere within minutes. The hotel room was spacious, comfortable and with a high level of cleanliness. The staff were wonderful, welcoming and extremely helpful. Would recommend this hotel to any couple or... More

This is an excellent hotel decorated in a very grand manner. We had a sea view room with Vesuvius right across from the hotel. A spotlessly clean hotel with staff who couldn't do enough for you, everyone was very friendly and helpful nothing seemed to much trouble. Positioned right in the centre of Sorrento restaurants and shops are right on... More

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel Tramontano three nights in mid-May and really enjoyed it. This historic hotel is in a great location near the main piazza and overlooks the Bay. The room was good sized and had a view of the pool area. We loved sipping Prosecco on the balcony after a day of sight-seeing and shopping! The front... More

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights and it was excellent. Our room with balcony overlooked the gardens which are beautiful. We left our balcony door open (as it was kind of stuffy in the room) at night and could hear the entertainment from restaurant across the street. The breakfast buffet was wonderful- many choices and lots of... More

From the outside the hotel is impressive when you enter its a different story. Nice lobby with average rooms, furniture showing its age. We stayed in the lower level and when walking down the staircase to the room it smelled damp and musty. The room smelled the same but opening the windows helped to air it out. When showering you... The views from these hotel rooms were simply amazing. We went as couples and stayed in rooms 334 and 335, which overlooked the marina and had a panoramic view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend requesting these rooms if you were to stay in this hotel. Pros: - The amazing views - The ocean view restaurant where you have... More
