My partner and I spent 10 days at this hotel during the summer. It's in a fantastic location, close to everything you need. We arrived, having booked a garden room and were taken to a room right at the top of the hotel. It was a dark big room, with a dindgy dirty courtyard. We had a small window which... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Imperial Hotel Tramantano in Sorrento and just loved it. We had water view junior suites and they were comfortable and elegant. Such a beautiful hotel, walking distance to restaurants, sights and shopping. A walk back in time ...

My wife and I just spent four nights here. The stay was wonderful. First off, I highly recommend getting a water view. The views are stunning, including a perfect view of Mount Vesuvius from the balcony. The room is very nice. Remember that European rooms are usually smaller. It could have used a nice sitting chair for reading. The daily... More

My partner and I had a week in Sorrento, staying in this hotel. It's very regal and of a certain period. It's very comfortable and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. There is an outdoor pool, but because we were staying late in the season, it was not open. The food is ample and of high quality. The... More

My partner & I have just returned from a 5 night break at the Imperial Tramontano, a stunningly beautiful hotel. It is steeped in history, having been a haunt of Shelley, Keats, Byron and Ibsen. The grounds are beautifully relaxing, with the lovely pool set amongst the pretty gardens. The staff are friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble... More

Me and my family have just returned home after a trip to Rome and Sorrento. While in Sorrento we stayed in the Emperial Tramontano hotel and couldn't have had a better time. The hotel was beautiful, with so much history. Rooms were lovely and spotless. We had great breakfasts every day, with very friendly service and 'to die for' chocolate... More

The hotel has a perfect location for the main square of Sorrento where there are numerous restaurants. It has fantastic views of Vesuvious and The Bay of Naples from the dining room and the sea view rooms. All the staff were friendly and obliging. The breakfasts were good with a huge assortment of pastries. We ate in the restaurant on... More

We had a lovely break 16th to 23rd October in Sorrento. The hotel was really well situated just 5 minutes walk from the town centre. It was immaculately clean, the staff were very polite and efficient, and the place runs like a well oiled clock. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a good air con system that was turned... I spent 10 days in Sorrento recently, at this hotel. It is decorated in the grand baroque style and gives the appearance of elegance but on closer examination, it is fraying at the seams. The room I had was at the end of a very, very long hallway, and although there was an water view, which was gorgeous, it was... More
