What a wonderful hotel experience! We had stayed in Nurano for three nights and somehow ended up in a budget hotel CAMPER. Just left and forfeited our 4th night. Giacomo with Di Nocera Car Service was able to get us a room here. We felt like we were in the Taj Mahal. Beautiful. Totally elegant. Greeted always with a smile.... More

It was only really apparent that the hotel was huge at breakfast. It was full at whatever time we went down. Other than that we didn't really see much of the other guests. We liked the private lift down to the waterside (I can't call it a beach!). Location is good -easy to get about and no noise at night... More

We had a wonderful return visit for 6 nights to Imperial Hotel Tramontano. Last stayed here in 2013 and dreamed of returning again. It makes you feel like you are here to rest and relax and take breakfast, swim and lunch by their pool. Siesta then drinks at the Terrace Bar (with views to Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius... More

Large triple room with view of Bay of Naples and Mt Vesuvius, stunning. Very helpful staff. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Pool shuts at 6pm, ridiculous. Only real blemish. Easy trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum

So happy we upgraded to the JR SUITE with seaview. Hotel is very old, no irons which i found common in Italy. Hotel staff were very nice, hotel in general seemed a little stuffy. Becareful if you want to go down to the piers to sunbath, Hotel guest have to pay and bring a towel

Our first visit was in 2006 for our Wedding and since have returned to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary on many occasions. The Hotel boasts the best of views with Vesuvius standing proudly, perched on a cliff by the Bay of Naples. Close to all the winding streets that lead to the main square or the Main Street so ideal for... More

This was our third visit to Sorrento and this hotel and we enjoyed it as much this time as on the previous occasions. We had a sea view with a balcony on the 4th floor which gave us an amazing view over the bay. Breakfasts were very good with good service and we ate in the terrace restaurant on a... More

Having stayed at the Imperial Tramontano previously last year we were very excited to be returning and our visit was as fantastic as expected. Fantastic staff, tasty Italian food, stylish rooms and great service. During our stay Mum celebrated her 60th birthday and the hotel couldn't have done more to make sure she had a fantastic day. Thank you Imperial... More

This hotel is beautiful! The room was huge and very nice. We had a view of the bay. The grounds were very nice. We sat out overlooking the view and had a drink before dinner. The staff was great. Huge breakfast and very nice. All the restaurants were close and very nice downtown area. Went on a tour of the... More

Sorrento was one of four stops on our family vacation in Italy. It is difficult to find a hotel on or near a beach that has a pool and accepts children. The Imperial Hotel Tramontano fit the bill perfectly. Sorrento shops and restaurants were minutes away. The hotel has beautiful gardens and a lovely pool (that closes too early in... More
