A lovely grand hotel, in a beautiful garden, with some rooms overlooking the sea and mount Vesuvius. We stayed there for Christmas, on a Titan holiday. It was warm, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, super bedroom overlooking the garden, very quiet. Beautiful salon, leading into the bar, with very comfortable couches. Dining Room spacious and elegant, with wonderful sea views,... More

The Imperial Hotel Tramontano served as our official Wedding hotel! We chose the Hotel based on its proximity to the San Francesco Cloisters where we got married (right next door). The Historic Hotel maintained its charm and dignity of an original Imperial residence. The property was well maintained, the gardens were beautiful and extremely romantic, the inside bar was cozy... enjoyed Xmas week here, food was stunningly lovely, staff attentive & nothing too much trouble. Set in attractive gardens overlooking Naples Bay. Only negative - wifi not terribly effective that apart a delightful Imperial experience.

This hotel has everything: history, old world charm, ambiance, wonderful location, outstanding views! We were lucky enough to have a corner room to soak up views of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. Outstanding staff and delicious breakfast in their panoramic dining room.

We had a room without a balcony, with a view of the parking lot, but honestly, it didn't take away from our experience here. The view from breakfast and the bar made up for it! It simply is amazing - I believe it's a former residence literally built into the side of the cliff. It's breathtaking! It's also a short... More

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for a week in November. This beautiful old hotel is full of history, with many famous writers and celebrities having stayed over the centuries. We had a junior suite with a balcony overlooking the sea and Vesuvius. Very clean and excellent service. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold offerings,... More

Imperial Hotel Tramontano is a BEAUTIFUL seaside retreat. The views off the back of the hotel towards the sea are stunning - make sure book one of these rooms! The hotel itself is also just as beautiful and the staff is incredibly nice, attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this amazing hotel and will forever remember my stay there!

You will be hard pushed to find a more perfect location from which to explore Sorrento. A short walk from the town centre and both harbours in this beautiful city. The views of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples are breathtaking and the closeness of the town made it great for strolls during the evening through the narrow streets full... More

My husband and I just finished a visit to the Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, all the while staying for four nights at this lovely, historic hotel. Many writers and poets got their inspiration at this lovely site, and it's position in the city made our stay very convenient. It is right on the bay and just to the end... More
