Stayed at Tramontano for 7 nights in July. Hotel is in a wonderful position, close to the centre of Sorrento but surrounded by gardens and the wonderful bay of Naples. Shown immediately to our room ( 409) Spacious double with a wonderful large balcony facing the bay of Naples and what a view!! As it was our 30th wedding anniversary... more

We booked via Thomsons A la carte and just had B & B facilities because we decided to sample the abundance of other eating venues. The booking was for a standard room only. I did have some reservations before my holiday having read other members reports about room sizes. We were allocated Room 338, twin beds and yes maybe a... more

We just came back from three wonderful days at the Imperial Tramontano. The hotel location really could not be better, built into the Sorrento cliffs, just steps away from shopping and "nightlife", but very quiet with a beautiful garden. Had a nice corner Junior Suite with a balcony and a terrace, the view was just unbelievable. Staff, especially at the... more

We had an eleven night stay at the hotel for our Honeymoon in May. The location was great - just a five minute walk from the main town square and the port. We thought the hotel was fantastic - the reception was light and airy and there was a lovely bar and piano room. We stayed in a Junior Suite... more

My 21 yr old and I stayed 3 days at this hotel in Mid May. It was wonderful. The restauraunt is wonderful. They bedrooms were spacious. Try to get a room to the side of the property or upgrade to the back of the property. The front of the property from 10pm to about 1AM is pretty noisy with street... more

My family and i have just returned from an amazing 2 week stay at the Tramontano. We have a 2 year old child who was made very welcome by all the staff, we were a bit worried about this as the hotel seems to be aimed at couples and older travellers, it was not a problem though, they seemed to... more

Just returned from 7 nights at this hotel ,definately not 5* but in a great location. We were persuaded to upgrade to seaview at extra £158 but it was like a prison cell.Very dark and the 'Balcony' you could barely squeeze 2 people on.Breakfast very good but everything else extremely expensive in hotel.Absolutely loved sorrento and can't wait to go back... more

Recall those lovely old-fashioned hotels in the movies ? Where the staff glide about answering your every wish and desire. Where the rooms are spotless. Where they change your sheets and towels every day. Where the barman remembers your drink and your room number after the first evening. Where the concierge can get you ANYTHING you require; be it a... more

We have just returned from this hotel and have to say we were disappointed. It is very centrally located and we found it to be very clean but apart from that we could find little in its favour. Our room was situated low down in the hotel and was absolutely freezing we didn't want to get out of bed in... more

y friend and I have just returned from a four day stay at this hotel and must say that I found this hotel to be a little dissapointing. On the positive side I would say this hotel has beautiful views and is in a central position for absolutely everything and public areas are lovely. We booked a twin junior suite... more
