This hotel should be much further up the rankings. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. You are literally right on the Main Street and our room was upgraded to a street view so could experience the small lanes in the morning through to the evening. It is a basic hotel, as are most in Italy... More

This family run hotel is ideally located on Corso Italia, the main street of Sorrento. It's near the center of town, a few short steps from Piazza Tasso and is surrounded by lots of opportunities for shopping, sightseeing, eating and people-watching. As noted by other reviewers, it's close to the bus and train stations and a short walk to the... More

This hotel is just steps away from Plaza Tasso and walking distance from the train station. Easy to find and close to restaurants and shopping. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. I liked that they have an in house washer and dryer. Staff were nice and helpful. The only negative about this hotel is that you need to... More

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel del Corso though while we were there often thought that a little sprucing up would go a long way. The location is very centralized and a great base for seeing the area. The staff was wonderful and helpful with directions and recommendations. The second floor terrace was great to eat breakfast and have a... More

This is a good three star hotel relatively near the train station but quite a way from the harbor. Service is quite good and the rooms are quite modern. The hotel also has a washer and dryer which were relatively expensive but a nice feature. The only drawback was that you had to pay for WiFi.

My wife and I were recently vacationing in Italy and Sorrento was the middle part of our trip. We did not have a car and the location of Hotel Del Corso was within easy walking distance from the train station which was a plus. This was a fairly basic hotel and the rooms were clean and of reasonable size. Relative... More

This hotel is fairly typical of European city centre hotels in that it is quite small and the rooms are adequate rather than spacious. At some point, it has been upgraded to include private bathroom facilities and air conditioning. Inevitably, bathrooms are on the small side. So, if you are looking for big, luxurious rooms and expansive bathrooms, you should... More

Situated in the Main Street, this hotel has a nice atmosphere and plenty of options for food and shopping just outside. It's an easy walk to the beach and port from here. A simple breakfast is served on the lovely terrace every morning. If you are travelling here from Rome or Naples I suggest that you take a private car.... More

We stayed here for 6 nights during our honeymoon and would stay again. The room and bathroom were both a decent size, and the air conditioning was brilliant, it only took a couple of minutes to cool everything to an arctic chill! Breakfast was simple, but adequate and served from the roof terrace, which had great views of the Corso... More

Through a mix-up, we ended up at Hotel del Corso at a cheaper price than normal. Its location is very good- right along the strip where the shops are. Sorrento seems very small anyway. Look out for the golden sign with the hotel name since the lift to get there is below street level, to the left of a shop... More
