The hotel reopened about six years ago. The interior design is very tasteful - the whole hotel has a very fresh outlook. Friendly and serviceoriented staff. If you are a Swede and lucky you can meet with swedishspeaking staff.

Hotel Astoria is located in a very good area in Sorrento. The staff is friendly, especially the cleaning ladies. The breakfast was better than we expected. Our room was quite small, 3.5m*3.5m, but the bathroom was big enough. Some lights in the bathroom didn't work, and they were not fixed, altough we asked that a couple of times. But the... More

On a 2 week package holiday and on our 8th visit to Sorrento, this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Excellent location for all main attractions in the town. Bed and Breakfast with a well stocked buffet including cooked food. As well as the breakfast room there is a garden where you can eat if you... More

This is one of the overall nicest hotels we have stayed in, and we have stayed in an awful lot of hotels around the world in 47 years of marriage. It has an excellent location in Sorrento Old Town, surrounded by restaurants and shops etc. It is an easy walk to Piazza Tasso, the train and bus station, and the... More

Just returned from an incredible Transat Vacation to the Amalfi Coast. This Hotel was the best of them all. Great Location, Friendly Service, in a incredibly clean and updated hotel. ( at least updated to Amalfi standards ) The breakfast was great and we would definetly stay at this hotel again if we return to Sorrento.

This hotel is located in the center of Sorrento, great location for local restaurants and bars only 10 minutes from the train and bus stations, and the harbour for the ferries. the hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast is alright but not spectacular the dining room is clean, the outdoor area a courtyard with a shed... More

Fabulous hotel! Nice, clean and bright rooms, really nice and helpful staff. Breakfast was very basic but fine. Amazing location! Very close to the water with the boats to Capri and other destinations on the Amalfi Coast, 10 minute walk to the train station. Fabulous restaurant close by, overall I would love to go back, 4 days was not enough!... More

this hotel is listed as 4 star, it is not worth2 star! It has practically no staff and those that are there make no effort to engage with guests. The breakfast is meagre, the tablecloths dirty, bedrooms small and noisy, outdoor area just a back yard with plastic chairs, There is no restaurant, bar service has to be requested, they would... The location of this hotel is its best feature. Right in the heart of the historical centre with literally everything on your doorstep. Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooked the garden area. The room had plenty of storage, was clean, sheets changed every couple of days, had a fridge and kettle and air conditioning. The shower was... More

We loved our stay in the Astoria. I had requested a room with a garden view and we were not disappointed. The room was very clean with ample space. You must remember that this hotel is in the historical district and not a newly built custom hotel so therefore the rooms are not going to be very big. I would... More
