Above the city center, and high enough to have spectacular views of city and bay. Restaurant, and my room, looked right at Mt. Vesuvius. Pool is large and clean. Yes, it is a bit of a walk to the center and waterfront, but not too bad. Restaurant was excellent, though I had only one dinner there. Breakfasts were very good... More

We did a family vacation in April to Italy (Amalfi Coast and Rome). Landed in Rome and drove directly to Sorrento Hilton. Hotel had arranged for connecting rooms and access to the executive lounge. Beautiful views of Capri, smoking Mount Vesuvius and Napoli city across the bay - day time and night time. Don't miss the fresh orange juice machine... More

This hotel is a little bit out of the core downtown but the views are spectacular and the bar is excellent. Have a drink and enjoy the views. We found the staff attentive and most accommodating when we wanted to enjoy the menu from the restaurant but on the patio, they quickly made up a table outside. The rooms are... More

Considering this was a North-american style hotel, the wi-fi was the worst of all the places we stayed in Italy. When checking the free wi-fi (available in the lobby only), we could typically tell when another person came on the network. Considering the cost of the hotel, this should have been much better. The breakfast was one of the better... More

Wanted somewhere to stay to enjoy the surrounding areas of the general area of Sorrento. Went to Pompeii, Herculeum, Capri, Anacapri, Amalfi Coast, Positano & Sorrento. There are loads of other places but didn't have time to visit them all. All tiring after a full day's excursion so ended up having evening meals at the hotel. Well the food &... More

Hotel is nice, views from deck were amazing. About 1 mile walk to the shops and restaurants. Drinks and food were a little pricey at the hotel. We mostly ate in the downtown area. Very large indoor pool that the kids loved. If you want a north American style hotel with full size shower/tub and all the amenities, this is... More

Came to this hotel by accident after leaving a timeshare in Ische early. We booked rooms on the fly. Best move we ever made! Hotel is excellent, Guiseppi at the bar was great. The entire restaurant staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the view is fantastic. The hotel is close to Sorrento downtown. The train station is easily... More

The staff was among the friendliest in Italy! The hotel is very modern and the grounds are beautiful! The executive lounge was a plus and very relaxing each day. Another benefit is it's a short walk to the train (taxis are expensive in Sorrento)

I loved my stay at the Hilton Sorrento Palace Hotel, my room was clean, big and nicely decorated. The hotel has a lovely pool and the outside terrace is fab for appertivo in the evening watching the sun set over Napoli. It is a little far from the main square but the walk is only around 20 minutes downhill from... More

I want to begin by stating that my overall experience at this hotel was a positive one. But the initial contact with the front desk upon check-in was frosty and one would have to say negative. Alessandro(spelling might not be accurate) was the gentleman who greeted us, frostily, upon our arrival. He was cold and his insistence in escorting us... More
