spent a week at the Hilton, food excellent, rooms very clean. Pool area very pretty and the view from the breakfast room across to mount Vesuvius was amazing..Only fault was the price of drinks etc 8 euros for a beer which was not even a pint, but didnt mind too much cos the place was top....Sorrento itself is one of... more

I really thought Hilton would treat its Honors members better, but obviously employees at this property have lost sight of what respecting its frequent customers means. We used a considerable amount of our Honors points for this stay and was disrespected from the moment we arrived. At first we were given a horrible room. What I would usually consider as... more

Taxis in sorrento cost a lot for the shortest rides (over 10E) and this hotel is up on a hill. So factor that in to the cost. Breakfast room has a stunning panoramic view of the bay of Naples and a good buffet. Restaurant food is good too. Rooms are comfortable though a bit spartan. If they had a free... more

Once you arrive, you will find the lobby huge and fabulous. The kids can run around like crazy in it. We got a family room that has 2 rooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. We were travelling with an 11 year old and a 4year old and this set up is great Except the the one bathroom had an odor to... more

Not easy to find. The GPS has the hotel halfway down the hill. Then you see the sign for the Hilton parking lot (but that's not connected to the hotel). Turn left at the end of the road and the hotel entrance is halfway on the left. I was travelling with a relative, so we got one of the Quadruple... more

I would recommend passing on this hotel and picking somewhere else to stay in Sorrento. While the lobby has been upgraded, the rooms have not. Hampton Inns have better rooms than this place. The hotel is also not in town, a 15-20 minute walk uphill from town. Staff was nice and friendly but one staffer responded the same way to... more

First of all...have to say when we (wife and I, + other friends - married couple our age - mid 30s) walked in the doors, we felt like we finally arrived. Absolutely beautiful hotel. Once you step in, all smiles. They had happy hour from 6-7 and 8:30-9:30...that alone created some good times. Transportation for free to several great restaurants.... more
