Nice hotel, stayed two nights, swimming pool is ideal for cooling off. Breakfast was adequate, although the orange juice tasted a bit odd. Very useful to have safe in room and 24hr reception. Air con worked ok. Room cleaned daily. You can hear other rooms next door. Has 2 english tv channels. The hotel is not exactly central but this... More

Our group stayed in this hotel in June of 2014. We travel with students and adults and I can say that all were pleased. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and the air conditioning functioned well. The breakfasts had a wide variety of fruit, cold cuts, breads, etc. The dinners we had here were very good. The hotel is within... More

Our room on the third floor had a small balcony overlooking a busy road. Door was fairly sound proofed so not too noisy with door closed. Small bathroom but serviceable. Small but fairly quick elevator. 10 to 15 minute walk on typical small sidewalks to main squares but plenty in between to. Dinner and breakfasts not write home about but... More

We stayed here as part of a tour for 5 nights. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom shower was on the tight side but adequate. The service was attentive (i.e., when our television controller did not work, it was fixed right away). The breakfast had fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, breads, rolls, and a huge assortment of... More

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour group. The hotel is pretty tired looking and the location is a hike to Piazza Tasso. Our room opened into a tiny hallway, with a sliding door to the bathroom and a door to our room. Keep the doors open! There is no A/C in the bathroom and it gets... More

Firstly, the hotel is 'fairly' central. about a ten minute walk down a very busy road to the main parts of the town. Our room was on the top floor and very small, the bathroom was particularly tiny, I think the rooms on the floors below are certainly bigger from what I could glimpse when you passed them . However,... More

We stayed here a couple of nights during our escorted tour of Italy. If we were traveling independently we would certainly have chosen a hotel nearer to the center of the activities in town. More than willing to spend a bit more for the convenience of being within easy walking to the shopping, eating establishments, and overall environment. The walk... More

We were on a tour and we were allocated this hotel. It is 4 star in our opinion. It was clean and the staff were very professional. Our room overlooked the street and it was most amusing watching the passing traffic. The rooftop bar area is lovely and the restaurant and breakfast area are lovely. We had to leave our... More

We stayed here for one night as our original hotel overbooked and set us up at Hotel Central for one night. The front desk staff were very friendly and eager to please. The rooms were newly refurbished and modern. The beds were comfortable. Our room faced the front of the hotel so it was a bit noisy at night but... More

Hotel Central was perfect in everyway. Friendly staff especially the waiters/bar men, amazing pool and sundeck overlooking the bay and with Vesuvius in the background. The hotel and rooms are fine, breakfast is decent. Not far from downtown.
