This hotel was difficult to find, smelled dusty and was quite outdated. The views here are fabulous but it is quite far out of town although they do have a courtesy bus that runs every hour.

Il Nido is a very comfortable and somewhat unusual property. As mentioned by other reviewers it is a haul from Sorrento, but the shuttle bus makes it work. We chose Sorrento as a base to explore the area for 5 days - Almafi Coast, Capri, Pompeii, and Sorrento. We chose Il Nido based on TA reviews, it's location and cost. It exceeded our expectatons. This place is about 10 minutes out of the city, but has a shuttle almost every hour to/from town except around lunch time.
