We loved our stay here since it was in the center of Sorrento. Everything is easy to get to: Bus and Train station is about a 10 minute walk. Center of town is a 5 minute walk. Restaurants and shopping is just right outside our hotel. Our host is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. This is a family... More

We stayed in this B&B for three enjoyable nights, joined in William's excellent cooking school, and ate delicious meals at the restaurant adjoining their Gelateria. Everything was wonderful! La Taverna Sorrentina is a jewel we will visit again. The cooking school was very educational and fun! Then to eat the dishes we saw him prepare-delicious!! Would recommend it to anyone... More

Such a beautiful b n b, William and Maria are so friendly and helpful. Made my stay that much better. Right in the old streets in the centre. Beautiful restaurant next door, shops everywhere. 5 minutes walk to the port and square. everything you need is at hand. The rooms are lovely.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights during our trip to Italy and this place was one of our favourites. We were treated like family and William and Mirella were more than accommodating during our stay. They gave us insight into where to eat, visit and organized a transfer to Amalfi coast for way cheaper than we... More

Old charm hotel with a wonderful family running it. In the hub of old Sorrento with small shops and restaurants. Cooking classes with Guillermo is a must. A little gelato shop at the entrance with all natural flavoured ice cream.

My husband and I recently stayed here from May 8-12. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. After a long travel day coming all the way from Cinque Terre we were greeted with kisses on both cheeks from Teresa, the owner's mother. We were taken up to our room on the third floor (there is an elevator).... More

My wife and I stayed four nights at this B&B and thought this was a great value for the price, especially given some of the hotel rates around Sorrento. You get a unique experience with its location in one of the busiest neighborhoods of Sorrento with shops, restaurants and bars right outside the building. The owners (Chef William and Maria)... Tremendous accommodations and the most wonderful people greeted us at Old Taverna -- William and his wife Mariella are amazing. This enterprise has been in their family since 1860, and they care for it with amazing expertise. Our stay could not have been more comfortable or enjoyable. It really was like being at home.

We found this place by pure chance after leaving our appalling accommodation in Sant Agnello and what a find this was. We stayed for 5 nights and had the most fantastic suite of three rooms with the biggest bed we have ever slept in. William and Maria couldn't have been more welcoming. It is central for all Sorrento has to... More
