After multiple bus cancellations in Amalfi, we missed the last train back to Naples from Sorrento. Wandering the streets at 10:30pm, we finally found the car rental office downtown & asked the fellow there to recommend a decent hotel that wasn't too expensive. He walked us down to a nearby (very busy) pub & explained our predicament. The gentleman there... More

Having stayed in Domus Sorrento in the past, my s/o suggested booking a room there as home base for our tour of the amalfi coast. We looked on the website and noticed that they listed a few locations... we called the number and spoke to someone named Dario that quoted us a competitive price and said we could have a... More

We booked this hotel as a base, close to the town centre for a quick trip to Sorrento. Bad idea. Upon arrival at the Domus Sorrento, which had scaffolding up the front, we found the hotel was locked, and upon calling the number on the hotel door were told we would need to wait an hour. Returning an hour later... More

A disaster. Could not drive to the hotel, despite the suggestion of parking - the surrounding streets were closed to traffic. And this is no hotel - it's a room in a dilapidated building, and would be not bad for a hostel room at €22, but for the price I was asked to pay it was awful. There were love-stains... More

When we arrived Domus Sorrento was closed. We called the number which was attached to the door and then we were moved to another 'hotel' located at least 2km from city centre. The other room was old with heavy smell of bleach and with air condition not working properly. People from Domus didn't bother to find for us sth different.... More

We stayed at the Domus Sorrento in one of the green rooms away from downtown. The room itself was comfortable, clean and quiet, and the air-conditioning was very much needed and appreciated. The hotel is literally a 1-minute walk to the beach and bus stop (useful for getting you to the Circumvesuviana and downtown Piazza Tasso. For those who enjoy... More

We arrived in Sorrento on a very hot day and tried to find Domus Paola on foot, dragging heavy suitcases, but got lost. It is up a very steep hill about 15 minutes walk from the station, so I suggest that you get a taxi! We asked for directions at a car rental agency nearby, and they phoned Paola; her... More

I am very please I decided to ignore the negative reviews that had been previously written about Domus Sorrento BB, because if I had not, I would have missd out on this gem. I have had the pleasure of staying in both a Green and Blue room and I can say that they were equally comfortable. The Green rooms are... More
