Centrally located in the beautiful historical precinct, this little hotel had everything I needed. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely appointed, the wifi was fast and on very level of the hotel and the breakfast was basic but delicious. The staff are friendly and available 24 hours, should you need anything. Would definitely recommend!

The location of this hotel in a vehicle-free street the middle of Old Sorrento is lovely, especially if you like church bells which were right next door! That apart, you are literally steps away from more restaurants than you can shake a stick at. Lovely building with a stunning staircase. The staff were lovely, very helpful, apart from Giovanni serving... More

We used Sorrento for a travel base. The hotel was walking distance to the train and ferry stations, convenient for day trips to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Located on a quite, narrow street in the midst of the heart of Sorrento, near good restaurants and local shopping and plenty of limoncello. We needed room for 4 (2 teenagers), and... More

This place was superb. The staff was friendly, the room was beautiful and it was in a great location! The rooms were super clean. The staff knew it was our 20th anniversary and gave us special treatment! It is the only place we will stay in Sorrento!

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Sorrento. We stayed in the Hotel Au Rivoli - an absolute gem. This former monastery was architecturally interesting with a magnificent glass staircase. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, cosy and ideally located in the heart of town. Out thanks go to the excellent staff who helped make our stay so memorable. At reception,... More

Clean, comfortable, great location! Only thing I didn't much like was the shower (shower attachment from the tap, not mounted on wall) and the hairdryer. Best to take your own. Other than that, lovely!

I was traveling with my family of four which included my two college age children. I needed a room that was big enough for the four of us and in Italy these are hard to come by. Our unit was outstanding!! We loved it. Staff is very pleasant and quick to respond to our needs. The hotel is modern inside... More

Very poor internet. Room 202 definitely not large enough for 3 people. Very poor sound proofing, you can hear the next rooms TV. Stayed for six nights and only received 3 tiny soaps for 3 guests for entire stay. The plus is that it is close to town.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in the middle of town, an easy (5-10 minute) walk to the train station as well as the marina. While nothing fancy, the hotel is well maintained and has free internet. Noise can be problem, as one can hear any commotion outside of the rooms (people talking and walking... More

Rivoli is a little friendly hotel in the old parts of Sorrento. The place has a excellent location with everything close by. Breakfast is more than OK. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Would easily go back again.
