We arrived in Sorrento after a long day's drive down from Rome with an afternoon stop at Pompeii. We were tired and ready to take up residence in the trailer I had thought I'd reserved at another campground down the road. When we arrived though, it was closed and as it was getting near dark, we were concerned about where... More

We based ourselves at Nube d'Argento for ten days and it was a great base for exploring and a good place for just relaxing. The view across the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius never got old. We were in a tent, so right at the bottom of the campsite, which made for a long walk up to the road into... More

We found this campsite to be the ideal base for our visit to Sorrento. With our campervan parked up it is just a short walk into town for restaurants, bars and tourist hot spots! The facilities themselves are very well kept, good toilets and showers, a wonderful swimming pool and a handy restaurant/shop. Staff was also very helpful, we thoroughly... More

Our class trip was planned in Campania and our teacher organized us the stay at the Nube D Argento. I must say in comparison with the usual classtrip conditions we were really lucky, the area had a stunning ocean and mt. vesuvius view, a nice pool area (which i did not find too small), neat and clean bungalows and tasteful... The camp site has a nice view of the blue sea and it's relatively well kept. Unfortunately the noise from the street is disturbing ... and the public bus system is just hopeless and since the camp site is south of the town you have to walk on the very busy street for 25 minutes :-(

I booked last minute (the day before) through booking.com. I booked a 'bungalow' for two, and this was a very comfortable cabin/shed style affair. We had two twin beds with lovely clean linen and wool blankets, we were warm sleeping in the evening. We had a lovely kitchenette with all the crockery and equipment you'd need if you wanted to... We stayed in the self contained log cabin for 2 nights and would have no hesitation in staying again. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Easy walk into Sorrento. Restaurant at the camping grounds served the best pizza in Italy. Great place to relax after a long day of driving and sight seeing. Nice pool area and fabulous views over the... More

In a nutshell it was ok. We was camping in a tent half way down the campsite near to a shower block. Good points: it is near to the town and at the bottom of the campsite there is a great view. Bad points: pricey for what you got the tent pitch was covered in fallen olives. The shower heads... More

Had a brief stay here...very good site, very good facilities, great pool, cheap beer, had a great view of the Bay of Naples and only a short walk into town....only downside was the numbers of ants! That said the site is in a lovely setting though a warning to those with large motor homes......the entrance is very tight and awkward... More

we stayed here for 3 nights and it was good. Easy walking (bit hilly) into Sorrento and nice clean site with lovely olive, fig and lime trees. Clean facilities and small shop and a restaurant with basic menu. Internet is available at a small charge and is a good connection in and around restaurant area. There were alot of ants... More
