Breakfast is served in the garden and is very basic, although you sometimes get fresh fruit from their garden. There is a hurrendous hill with twists and turns to drive up to Casarufalo. Not for the faint-hearted! We got a ride up the hill from one of the neighbours who felt sorry for us walking up in the heat. She... More

Casarufolo paradise is located at the top of a very steep hill with beautiful views. We made the mistake of forgetting to tell the host when we arrived so had to walk our luggage to the top which was extremely difficult. However, if you notify Gianluigi of your arrival time he will pick you up and drive you to there.... More

We arrived on the train and were met by the owner who drove us up to the B&B - my partner's first query was 'why are your wing mirrors folded in' - we were soon to find out. The roads up to the B&B are not for the faint hearted but the view and the quiet secluded location (we live... More

Okay, let's be fair, this B&B is located at a hill with a very nice view! The house and gardens around it are seriously beautifull. Some things to think about before going to this place: the road to the house is VERY steep and only for advanced drivers. Some corners are so tight that you can only take them in... More

The drive up is a bit hairy and I would recommend that you call the owner, he will meet you down the bottom and drive the car up for you otherwise you could burn the clutch out on the car. Gianluigi and Lia the owners are both beautiful people and do everything they can to make sure your stay is... More

To start this review with a negative is not fair but I would have given Casarufolo Paradise a huge excellent except for our arrival. Gianluigi (host with the most infectious Italian can do attitude) gave us instructions to the meeting point, we found it, rang him and down he came to meet us. All good, except if you are not... Casarufolo Paradise was anything but paradise. The list of amenities proved to be full of deceptions. Our room lacked the promised "climate control," so we froze and failed to sleep the entire night. The flimsy twin mattresses (not the promised “queen”) and the cheap blankets added to our insomnia. We were forced to endure this misery because “management” vanished from... More

I can say enough about the owner of this place and do him the justice he deserves. He is always willing to help and gives his all to make sure you are enjoying yourself and comfortable. He even left a family dinner to come pick us up without question. It sits atop a huge mountain and he will pick you... More

Casarufolo Paradise is an incredible place to stay! It is not close to the city center of Sorrento, but it is delightful. Our car was a bit too big to drive up to the B&B because of the steep incline and narrow roads, but John Luigi came to our rescue and skillfully drove up the hill/mountain. John Luigi was a... More

We spent 9 nights with Gianluigi at his wonderful B&B nestled in the hills. Don't be worried about the drive up, as yes the first go is harrowing (make sure to turn your aircon off) but my husband and I got the hang of it quickly. If you are not willing for this, Gianluigi drives a shuttle up three times... More
