My wife and I stayed at B&B San Francesco for 2 nights. We arrived late to Salerno by train and the owner, Enzo, picked us up at the station. He gave us a quick tour of the city by car to point out major cross streets and landmarks to help us with any walking we wanted to do. As others... More

We stayed at B&B San Francesco for 2 nights so that we could spend a day at Paestum. When we arrived by direct bus from Naples Airport, Enzo the young and enthusiastic English speaking owner of the B&B picked us up at the bus stop. The day we went to Paestum he took us to the station to catch the... More

I had my 3rd visit to B&B San Francesco last week. It is a great B&B. Large airy rooms, tasty breakfast and excellent value for money. Enzo is a fantastic host. He picked us up from the train station and dropped us off the next morning. Will be returning on my next visit to Italy.

As majority of the reviewers have said here, for its value, this is an excellent B&B, spacious room, very good bathroom facilities; common kitchen also available. Enzo is also an excellent host. He gave us very good suggestions for going around Salerno. Just to give an idea of why we came to Salerno: although it is not as well known... More

Enzo is a wonderful host, picking us up at the train station and dropping us off at the bus terminal early the next morning. He gave us a short orientation to the city on the way to the B&B including good suggestions for restaurants. The room was large, comfortable, and quiet despite being near a busy street. Although we did... More

Salerno is well worth a visit, and San Francesco B and B is a great place to stay. Located in a building undergoing major exterior renovation, but the B&B is quiet, our room large, the private bathroom good sized and modern, there is a well appointed kitchen with all mod cons, and fast wi-fi (free) Is available. Enzo - the... More

There is not much to do in Salerno, but if you need to stay there, this hotel is an excellent choice. The owner is extremely helpful and kind, the room is very spacious, there was a kitchen and fast wi-fi connetion.

We struggled to find a B & B that could accommodate 6 of us on the required night in Salerno. We then found this one and when we arrived, a couple of months after booking, couldn't believe our luck! The exterior of the buildings is all under renovation so it looks like a building site, but inside the B &... More

This was a great place to stay. Close to the railway station and the ports. Rooms were very clean, big with high ceilings, spacious bathrooms and the wi-fi was excellent. Salerno is perfect if you wish to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri or any of the towns in the Amalfi coast. The best part about the stay was Mr.Enzo, the owner... More

My wife and I traveled for two weeks through Italy, and this was by far our favorite stay out of the eight cities that we visited. The owner Enzo has done a fantastic job of blending the historic charm of an older building with modern comforts and decor. On top of that he treated us like lifelong friends from the... More
