Salerno is well worth a visit, and San Francesco B and B is a great place to stay. Located in a building undergoing major exterior renovation, but the B&B is quiet, our room large, the private bathroom good sized and modern, there is a well appointed kitchen with all mod cons, and fast wi-fi (free) Is available. Enzo - the... More

There is not much to do in Salerno, but if you need to stay there, this hotel is an excellent choice. The owner is extremely helpful and kind, the room is very spacious, there was a kitchen and fast wi-fi connetion.

We struggled to find a B & B that could accommodate 6 of us on the required night in Salerno. We then found this one and when we arrived, a couple of months after booking, couldn't believe our luck! The exterior of the buildings is all under renovation so it looks like a building site, but inside the B &... More

This was a great place to stay. Close to the railway station and the ports. Rooms were very clean, big with high ceilings, spacious bathrooms and the wi-fi was excellent. Salerno is perfect if you wish to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri or any of the towns in the Amalfi coast. The best part about the stay was Mr.Enzo, the owner... More

My wife and I traveled for two weeks through Italy, and this was by far our favorite stay out of the eight cities that we visited. The owner Enzo has done a fantastic job of blending the historic charm of an older building with modern comforts and decor. On top of that he treated us like lifelong friends from the... More

We stayed for 2 nights with Enzo on very short notice during the busy Easter week. He was very accommodating and always willing to lend a hand and give advice. He picked us up and also dropped us off at the station showing us all the best places in Salerno on the way. The apartment was very clean with 3... More

The place was great, and the owner was even better! Made us feel right at home he showed us around town to make sure we knew the area and was always available for any questions. It was hard to find due to construction outside as it inside a courtyard but worth finding!

Unfortunately I and my boyfriend could stay only one night due to our travelling schedule. The owner is a young very friendly and open minded Italian who speaks a good English. He runs this bed and breakfast which has only three rooms very well. Since we could not find any lockers at the station for our luggage we just went... More

I stayed at B & B San Francesco for one week with my husband and we loved it: excellent location, within walking distance from the railway station, the boats peer to the Amalfi Coast, the old town of Salerno, the trendy pedestrian shopping area... perfect! The place is very neat and clean, it has been completely renewed very recently. The... More

My stay at the San Francesco was a good one. Speaking very little Italian, Enzo (the owner) was extremely helpful. He picked me up at the train station and gave me a tour of Salerno. He suggested where I might get some awesome pizza and the best gelato in Salerno. Suffice it to say, I was happy with his recommendations.... More
