our stay here was fantastic. felt very welcome. it is a great location to visit amalfi coast, naples, pompeii etc. walk to ferry, bus and trains. restaurants in salerno are cheaper than on the amalfi coast. the room was cool because of a/c, bed was very comfy and quiet. we will stay here again on our next visit and recommend... the owner and operator of this B&B Hotel is by far the kindest most gentle considerate man I have ever met in all of my travels. relocation was perfect because I like to be in the old part of town near all the best restaurants and authentic Salerno Italy location. it was also very quiet at night for sleeping. I... More

not sure if he's the owner, but the guy that greeted us when we showed up three hours late was super nice and spoke perfect English. He completely took care of everything we needed. This place was clean, comfortable and quiet. I slept well and would definitely stay here again. It's not easy to find, but the gps on your... More

Salerno was our first stop on a 10-day whirlwind tour of Italy. After a 30-minute walk from the train station, we arrived at B & B Adelberga around 2:00 pm, only to find it closed for the afternoon. We decided to just walk around by the water (five minutes walk away), only to be approached by Ludovico (the B &... More

We arrived by train from Rome and it took us over 30 minutes to walk from the train station through the pedestrian zone to the Old Town as we had to keep checking the map and we are in our mid 60s and were lugging suitcases. As we stopped at the end of the street/small alley way Ludovico came up... More

This was our first stop on a road trip up the Amalfi coast and we couldn't have chosen a better starting point! Location wise it's perfect (tucked away in the old town but still close to the seafront and plenty of bars/restaurants) and our room was lovely; clean and spacious with some nice quirky touches. Most of the reviews on... More

The reviews were right! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ludovico was a gracious host and offered great advice on places of interest, restaurants or any other questions we had. The location of Salerno makes it easy to visit the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Naples and other tourist attractions whilst enjoying the comforts that this B&B offers. This was... More

Very welcoming, friendly and helpful owner who gave useful recommendations, room was very good value, very clean, even had a mini fridge. Bathroom was surprisingly huge and the window screen was most welcome when one considers how ravenous the mosquitoes are. Just be aware that sometimes breakfast doesn't start exactly on schedule.

We stayed here in April. This was our first stop on our Italy adventure and was very nervous about everything. After getting off the train our taxi driver knew exactly where to go (I think everyone knows everyone in Salerno), and dropped us off right in front of Ludovico's shop with him waiting patiently outside for us. Just a few... More

Ludovico, the owner helped us in every enquiry, in fact when we arrived he was there to pick us up as we had luggage and where he is situated there are cobble stones. The b&b is comfortable with a shared lounge. All the comforts of home and so central to shops, port, old town and a 15 minute walk to... More
