I've just returned from a weeks fantastic stay at this charming and ideally located hotel. Just 2 minutes away from Salerno train station on the main shopping street and 5 minutes away from the beach, not only are you ideally based to explore the old and new of Salerno but the rest of the stunning Amalfi coast a nd further... Easy to locate and close to train station. 2 blocks from the pier, where you can catch a ferry to the town of Amalfi. Pedestrian promenade made walking easy near hotel, little to no vehicle traffic. Restaurants and stores for all types of shopping located close. Room was larger than expected, good size bathroom, average size shower, refrigerator and air... More

I booked a room at this hotel in November paying half of the money in advance the room was supposed to be for Christmas. At the beginning of December we received a phone call saying that unfortunately they will have to refund us the amount paid as they had to accept other customers that come more often and so we were... beds are hard, shower is tiny, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, stinks of cigarette smoke, toilet doesn't flush, very loud.. Even with ear plugs in I was woken up every 30 mins through the night. Good location and paid $65 Euro Friendly staff

Albergo Santa Rosa is in a fantastic location near the railway station, bus station, ferry port and also located on a lovely family friendly mall for cafe's and shopping. The staff were superb and we felt so welcome. Every need was attended to and we felt very safe. Value for money was excellent. We actually changed our bus ticket so... More

All seriousness aside my wife wet her pants laughing. Requesting an iron she had to perform charades for one of the night staff, who, after 10 minutes of theatrics gave her a hair brush. The same man(uel), earlier had circled his ear with his finger making "crazy" signs when I told him I expected to be allowed out of the... More

I stayed in Albergo Santa Rosa when I found my first choice filled. It was a pleasant surprise on the second floor with an elevator. It was conveniently just around the corner from the railway station, 2 short blocks from the waterfront and at the beginning of Corso Vitt Emanuele, a long shopping street with plenty to please everyone. The... More

While the room was fine, we felt the manager was a bit creepy. He insisted we hand our key in every time we left the B&B and we had to buzz in every time we returned. When I asked about wifi, he insisted on keying in the password himself on my Pad rather than the usual practice of giving a... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Salerno on our drive of the Amalfi Coast on our recent trip to Italy. This is a small and basic family-run hotel where Miouro and his brother, really couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the main street of Corso Vittorio.... More

I loved that it was close to the train station. It's very fancy or new, so if that's important to you, go elsewhere. However, it's an excellent deal and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It also felt safe and was very clean. The view from the balcony was pretty cool too.
