Albergo Santa Rosa is in a fantastic location near the railway station, bus station, ferry port and also located on a lovely family friendly mall for cafe's and shopping. The staff were superb and we felt so welcome. Every need was attended to and we felt very safe. Value for money was excellent. We actually changed our bus ticket so... More

All seriousness aside my wife wet her pants laughing. Requesting an iron she had to perform charades for one of the night staff, who, after 10 minutes of theatrics gave her a hair brush. The same man(uel), earlier had circled his ear with his finger making "crazy" signs when I told him I expected to be allowed out of the... More

I stayed in Albergo Santa Rosa when I found my first choice filled. It was a pleasant surprise on the second floor with an elevator. It was conveniently just around the corner from the railway station, 2 short blocks from the waterfront and at the beginning of Corso Vitt Emanuele, a long shopping street with plenty to please everyone. The... More

While the room was fine, we felt the manager was a bit creepy. He insisted we hand our key in every time we left the B&B and we had to buzz in every time we returned. When I asked about wifi, he insisted on keying in the password himself on my Pad rather than the usual practice of giving a... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Salerno on our drive of the Amalfi Coast on our recent trip to Italy. This is a small and basic family-run hotel where Miouro and his brother, really couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room was very clean and had a balcony overlooking the main street of Corso Vittorio.... More

I loved that it was close to the train station. It's very fancy or new, so if that's important to you, go elsewhere. However, it's an excellent deal and the owners are very friendly and helpful. It also felt safe and was very clean. The view from the balcony was pretty cool too.

The room was clean and the cafe downstairs is excellent and those are about the only redeeming features of the place. The bathroom was clean but horrible; a small shower enclosed by on end those nasty plastic curtains that wraps itself around you as you shower. The toilet requires a pump to evacuate all its matter and suffers from a... More

This Albergo is right next door to the Salerno railway station, which we found very handy. The staff were very helpful in suggesting sightseeing and eating places. They always attended to our needs promptly.

This albergo is a great place to stay because it is within walking distance of the Lungomare Avenue and where you can enjoy the Tirreno Sea. it is close to bus and train station. There are a lot of restaurants and stores by the Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Place is clean, comfortable, spacious and Mauro is a great host.

My husband and I arrived in Salerno by train we had a bad impression of the city because the information office was closed. We found a place near the hotel santa rosa station. Immediately the staff, very friendly and nice, they gave me all the information about places to visit and restaurants to eat typical local cuisine. I helped carry... More
