We stayed here for 5 nights for part of our honeymoon. The location is great as located on main street/ square. The room was lovely, modern and clean. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The breakfast was great, lots of choice! Its nice as there are only 5 rooms as well. I will definately be returning to this hotel! more

We stayed at the Residenza Luce in April 2009. The B&B is right in the center of Amalfi, seconds away from the city's main square and few minutes walking distance from the beach. We arrived in Amalfi by rental car (probably like most other visitors to Amalfi) and were met at the beach by a third-party company the B&B hires... more

After staying in Naples this hotel was a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of life in Naples. Perfectly located within Amalfi town centre... so much so we stayed in and sat and watched Italian life from our terrace all night! The hotel is lovely and clean and rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast was lovely and... more

This place was fantastic. We were travelling in January, so most of the hotels in town were closed for the season, and we took this one primarily because it was open. It ended up being a great choice. The communal lobby/sitting/kitchen area when you walk in is very clean and looks new. The staff was helpful and we were taken... more

We stayed at the Residenza Luce for 4 nights in September 2008. We had an amazing stay. We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon after a very long trip. Anna (the girl who works there) helped us with our beds and showed us directly to our room. The room was VERY clean. All the rooms at Residenza Luce are... more

This is a great little place to stay. It's located in a residential building that is just a couple minutes walk from the harbour, so it was simple to find. It's also convenient to all the sights and beaches that Amalfi has to offer. The staff were excellent! They looked after your every need. We arrived in the evening because... more

Residenza Luce is very conveniently located on the main street, moments away from the town's main square and main tourist attraction, the Amalfi Duomo, with the beach just steps further. Space is at a minimum in Amalfi, so it is built up rather than out. There are at least 20 steps from the main street to get to the outer... more

Residenza Luce was the best hotel I stayed in during 3 weeks in Italy and I would love to go back there and to Amalfi. Vincenzo was a delightful host from the moment he saw the 2 of us looking lost in the piazza to the time he mailed me the shirt I left behind. He and the family always... more

We absolutely LOVED Residenza Luce! First, the place is completely updated and new—they opened in Summer ’07 (we stayed there in late September). It's centrally located within feet of restaurants, the main piazza, and 2 blocks from the beach. Four of the 5 rooms have balconies that overlook Amalfi's small central street. The 5th room is in back (no balcony),... more

As a new hotel with few reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect from Residenza Luce, but by the time my wife and I left, we were in no doubt that we had stumbled across a gem! Vincenzo the owner, and all the other staff, were impeccably polite and helpful and the room itself (Sospiro) was beautifully designed and decorated... more
