Not for the weak-legged, as other reviews have clearly pointed out, but the views, the property, and the people make it worth the steps. Quiet, secluded, private, and a restful place to stay. Stunning views. The staff is helpful. Rino, the patriarch, is a really nice man and although we couldn't speak each other's language, we had a number of... More

As most reviews had mentioned, it is an effort to get to this hotel but the views are well worth it. Plus there is a (slow) lift so really, we didn't find the stairs to be an issue. In fact we quite enjoyed the walk down to the town/beach via stairs. However, definitely catch the bus back up! It was... More

Super cute little hotel atop Amalfi. Really quite, and stunning morning views of the mediterranean sea. Simple but clean & functional room, great breakfast (continental including freshly baked cornettos), amazing views, pool and terrace, and a private little oasis. Only downside would be it is a little inaccessible, with 300 steps up to the road (where the bus comes hourly)... More

Cute and quirky We just returned from our trip to Italy and spent 3 nights at this guest house. It's located high up the mountain which makes the views spectacular from the rooftop pool and common terrace area. None of the rooms have a balcony, they all open up to a hallway and garden. This place is only accessible via... More

only reachable via a lot of steps (or with a slow stair lift), so be aware of some physical action, but once there it is a little paradise with breathtaking views over Amalfi, the ocean and the coastline. the staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions. we were upgraded to a superior room which was... I highly recommend this place if you are up for some walking. There are more than 300 steps DOWN to reach this Amazing villa. You can take the small lift down if you need to. We had a simple room but the view just outside our door was breathtaking. I am so happy we decided to stay here instead of... More

Yes this is what we wanted from our holiday on the Amalfi coast! We wanted to relax, have some sun and go and explore and staying at the Le Palme really helped us in our stay here! We stayed in the 'special suite' which is a seperate building on the top of the hotel right near the pool area ...... More

Yup! This is what we wanted! Affordable, super friendly family staff, ridiculously charming, clean, safe, amazing pool area with painfully breath taking views. If you don't mind the venture out of town, this place is well worth the trek. PS: the fresh juice on arrival was a nice touch
