My husband and I spent 4 nights at Hotel Il Nido during the 3rd week in April, a wonderful time to visit. (Not as crowded and perfect temperatures.) We thoroughly enjoyed the accomadations (clean, comfortable and spacious) the amenities (tasty breakfast, free parking) the location (a bit uphill and away from the crowds of Amalfi Center) and most of all... We stayed for four nights at this hotel. Though quite basic, it was comfortable, and the staff were helpful. We stayed in the last week of March, Amalfi really doesn’t come to life till 1st April. Would have appreciated some hot food at breakfast, or at least some toast, and a snack during the day. There are no dining facilities... More

We recently spent 2 nights, February 28-Mar 1, 2015 at this Hotel. We could have not asked for a better Hotel to spend our 2 nights at the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The Reception Personnel and other employees were always very accommodating, professional and courteous. Each of them went well out of their way to insure that all of our needs and concerns... More

Three of us stayed in the Il Nido for 3 nights. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed at this hotel. All rooms overlook the ocean and have views over Amalfi. We were given a suite on the 3rd floor with a huge outdoor area. It was very relaxing. The hotel is clean, well appointed and staff are... More

Would be a 5 for the price, but a small deduction for the lack of side-walk on the hike up to the hotell. Don't miss out on the 10€ prosecco, got it with a bucket of ice and everything. Fantastic view! All rooms have a balcony (except one but they don't rent it via websites, only for lost travellers who... More

We wanted a decent value hotel, with a sea view and parking - this was ideal. The other hotels in the area are very expensive and if you are a young couple like us, this will be perfect. It's a bit of a walk down to Amalfi, but we were fine with that. The staff were friendly, and even parked... More

About fifteen minutes walk from the town of Amalfi, up an invigorating flight of steps, rests the genteel, friendly hotel Il Nido. A family run business , providing a great breakfast suitable for the hot summer temperatures, fresh fruit and juice being essential( proper English tea too) , this comfortable hotel boasts rooms with balconies that overlook the sea into... Friendly helpful staff, spotless accommodations, breath taking view, great breakfasts. Short walk to town. I would most definitely return to this quaint, charming, clean little hotel in a quiet section of Amalfi
