We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. It's in a fantastic location - I was 6 months pregnant and the steps were no problem! The owners were so helpful and the room was gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in the small one bedroom for my three night solo Amalfi stay. It is in a perfect location near the square, but set far back enough to be quiet. But the location isnt the only thing that made this wonderful. Gerardo was a phenomenal host and was also ready to help provide any answers or guidance. Even when... More

I returned to this property for a second time after a really great visit a few years back, and I was very pleased to come back to the same wonderful charm, beautiful decor, and special hospitality of this unique property in Amalfi. It is not every day that you have the opportunity to stay in the residence of a duke,... More

Good central location - but 70+ steps to climb so not for the infirm - but good exercise for the rest ! Friendly and attentive owners and staff. Comfortable beds and bathrooms; good coffee and range of options for breakfast. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our 3 nights stay at charming Residenza del Duca. We arrived by bus, called the hotel and were picked up at the bus station within minutes by 2 friendly guys in a small car(t) who carried our luggage up (and down) the approx. 80 steps to the hotel. This service is free of charge (of course... More

This is a delightful, authentic, family-run hotel. Bathroom is modern and our room (Room 1) has views of the sea and the piazza below. Andrea welcomed us warmly and was very helpful throughout our stay. He arranged a private transfer from Napoli at short notice (due to a delayed flight) and a private transfer to Salerno at the end of... More

This is a lovely little place. Very authentic and the family are really helpful and friendly. They booked our airport transfer and arranged wonderful excursion to Pompeii and Herculaneum. The room was a good size and was cleaned and tidied daily. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We have just enjoyed an excellent stay in this small hotel. The family are very friendly and helped to make our stay enjoyable. The room is small, but perfectly sized for a short stay in Amalfi. The price and location of this hotel, coupled with the excellent hosts make this an outstanding choice for any traveller. The local hotel association... More
