Travelled to this part of Italy as part of a tour group with my other half. On arrival at a crowded Naples airport in hot sunshine we were eventually linked up with our Tour Director (Loridana) and put onto our coach for Maiori and Minori respectively. First stop Hotel Pietra di Luna in Maoiri then Reginna Palace. By this time... more

Stayed here for 5 nights. Bathroom actually quite nice. Lovely tile work. Bedroom dreary. Bedspread and chair covering old and worn and dirty and gross. No View of anything. Airconditioning went off at midnight and stayed off all night which made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. Also turned off during the day. The hotel full of tour groups. Some... more

Stayed for a week at this hotel on my honeymoon. Although it boasts a 4 star rating, it's probably more in the 2.5 - 3 range. Our room was fairly small and, as I think is typical of the area, they go for fairly spartan furnishings. They really should lose the liquid soap dispensers by the sink and in the... more

We stayed here at the end of March, 2009, and it was very nice and very clean. The hotel renovations must have been completed by the time we got there, at least that's what I figure from the previous reviews. The rooms were large in my opinion, when comparing this hotel with others I have stayed in around Europe. It's... more

The Hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very nicely located. Minori is nestled between Amalfi and Maori and there is access to both. Minori is not a haven for tourists and the benefit to this is that you will find the local shops have locals prices, these are quite a bit less than the same items you will buy in... more

Minori is a wonderful place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. It's not as busy as other towns, but the location is convenient if you'd like to visit other towns along the coast. The hotel itself was perfectly adequate, but it is most definitely not a 4 star property. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was just... more

It's hard to believe we've been back a month now, What a pleasure it was to go back to Italy again, and this time, to stay in one place for 8 days! And we couldn't have stayed in a better place than the absolutely quaint and lovely Villa Romana. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay in the Amalfi Coast any... more

I have stayed in this hotel every year for the last several years. I find the staff accomodating to any concerns. The rooms are large for Italy, clean, and with pretty baths. The elevator is also spacious. It is within easy walking distance to the beach and all restaurants. I found the breakfast had a nice selection of food (some... more

My experience at Villa Romana has been quite good. I've been there for just one night, I wanted to avoid Amalfi chaos so choosed this place in Minori. Arrivng , you understand it can't be a four star: the entrance should be renewed, as it seems so old, and it let you imagine how the property could be inside. The... more

The Hotel Villa Romana is based in Minori, a small residential town on the Amalfi coast a great starting point for exploring Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Capri, Iscia island and other neighbouring towns. We chose Minori because it was described as a quiet residential town and the hotel Villa Romana offered its own swimming pool and was only a short walk... more
