Paid 180Euros for a very poor room. Everything at the hotel is very dated, and the only thing I would recommend to somebody staying there is to bring a set of binoculars to watch the TV. It is that small. more

We booked this hotel prior to reading any reviews and were somewhat concerned after seeing what some visitors had said .To the contrary, our stay there was quite pleasant and we found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, as all you had to do was go down the stairs and you were right on... more

Stayed in the Hotel Amalfi for 3 days last week. The room was a reasonable size and clean. The bed and pillows however were rock hard and it was difficult to sleep. As previously described, the tiled floors, the closeness of the neighbours, and the church bells that start at 6am make for a noisy experience. The breakfast terrace is... more

rooms were small, balcony was small with lots of wires running across it. you can hear every door slam in the hotel, and there is a bell that rings very early in the morning. the elevator is small, and there are lots of stairs to climb up before you get to the hotel, so luggage is an issue. the locations... more

The hotel's central location in Amalfi works for and against it. For - it's surrounded by any number of cafes and shops, the Duomo is across the road, and the harbour is a two minute walk away. Against - very noisy, other reviewers have mentioned the Duomo clock at 15 minute intervals, and the residents seem incapable of talking at... more

Upon arrival we were quoted a price of 80 euro with free parking and breakfast. When asked for a price without breakfast we were told 70 euro. The young girl who was helping us had to verify the information she gave us with an older lady who appeared to be the manager. After her inquiry we were told it would... more

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms were a good size, and the location couldn't have been better. Absolutely a gem. We'll be back for sure! more

Booked the hotel through the local tourist office, was offered the choice between a single for 60 Euro or a double with single occupancy for 75 Euros. Took the latter. The room was small (there would have been no room for two suitcases, desk with only one chair - in fact a single with a comfortable king size bed). Large... more

This is a pretty clean hotel which could not have a better location right in the centre of town. But unfortunately, while some of the staff were quite pleasant (including two women on the front desk, and the men in the garage), some were incredibly rude. A pregnant woman who seemed to be in charge couldn't have been more nasty... more
